Q: Is this watch good for use whilst showering or swimming?

The back of the watch is only marked as 'WATER RESISTANT'. According to the user manual the 'watch is designed and manufactured to withstand up to 3 bar, such as accidental contact with splashes of water or rain, but is not designed for wearing while swimming or diving'. Hence no good for use whilst showering or swimming. The manual suggests you need 'WATER RESISTANT 5 BAR' in order to be 'suitable for wearing while swimming, yachting and taking a shower'.
