I’ve purchased this a few times, and one of the things I really like about this clay is how easy it is to wash off your hands when you’ve styled your hair; a must for when you rushing to get ready for work.The scent is very light, and in my opinion quite nice, and the clay works well on very short and short hair (I’m sure it also works well on other lengths, but I only ever have my hair very short or short).With Seven Potions Clay, less really is more, and as a result, you will find that it lasts a long time. This product provides a good hold without feeling greasy or clumpy, as long as you warm it between your hands before applying. I particularly like that I can brush through my hair afterwards for a more natural finish. I’ve been on the lookout for hair products free from harmful ingredients, and this is the only styling clay I’ve come across that’s free from phenoxyethanol and other nasties. The premium packaging and the fact that it’s made in the UK are added bonuses. Highly recommended for anyone who values natural hair styling.

I've bought the SevenPotions hair clay a few times now. The product is good with a very good hold on short to meduim hair. Washes out easily. Only thing I'm not too keen on is the scent but the product itself makes up for this. I will contonue to use.

This product is excellent with a matte finish right from the start a high quality clay cream. Although controversial I really liked the smell which was one of the things mentioned about the product. This left my hair looking great I even went and bought it again. It’s £17 for 100ml which most clays are only coming in at 50ml 75ml for a similar price which makes it good value. Definitely recommend.

I switched from using standard hair gel when I found out it contained a bunch of hazardous endocrine disrupting ingredients that are banned in the EU. I couldn't be happier with this stuff. All natural, safe ingredients, smells great, and does the job! I have really straight hair that is hard to work with, but this stuff goes in easy, keeps it's shape all day, and washes out no problem! I did a lot of shopping around for a good clay and only wish I had found this product sooner.

Good product, just somewhat in a higher price bracket than its competition. It smells fine & the texture is good, & it holds well after styling.

I found this styling clay a few years back and have been a big fan ever since. The hold is good, it isn’t sticky or gloopy, doesn’t have any strong fragrance (although it does smell good!), it lasts forever and stays on my hair rather than ending up inside my motorbike lid - there is literally nothing that isn’t great about it!That said, I did have a tiny issue with the last time I bought. I contacted the company and they haven’t just gone the extra mile to sort it out, they have gone ahead, strewn the road with rose petals, lined the streets and carried me in a gilt covered sedan chair - well, figuratively speaking! They pulled out all the stops and more than fixed the problem. They seem like a brilliant U.K. based company and based on my experience of them, I would wholeheartedly recommend them and their products to you, go on, treat yourself, you deserve it!

Ohhh my... If you want your face smelling like your grandmother's wardrobe (mothballs) then by all means get this. It smells TERRIBLE. So I thought "well, I spent the money so I might give it a try and ignore the smell" nope nope nope. The smell is so strong that I had a headache the whole day. Washed it off and thre it away. Waste of money.
