I asked this question below to the Marantz online support: For the MM7055 is the rating 140w per channel @ 2 channels driven or does each of the 5 channels get 140 watts each. There are conflicting descriptions from different sources. This is the answer I got: That's correct, it is 140 wpc (watts per channel) continuous power.
