Read the trigger warnings…it is heartbreaking but Hugh and Lizzie are beautiful
This book is sad. Horribly, devastatingly sad. The trigger warnings are there for a reason. As with all the other books in this series, there is trauma and just horrible bullying and abuse. It is honestly the most graphic and disturbing in the whole series so far. That being said, the main characters in the series from other books, and Hugh and Lizzie specifically in this book are incredible. The depths of their friendship and love are unmatched. Their love story is heartbreaking and devastating but you can’t help but hope for an ending of love and happiness for them. This is a five star review because while it is a hard, hard book to read and the subject matter is horrible…the bones of Hugh and Lizzie, their devotion and love is beautiful.I am putting all my hope in the fact that I believe Lizzie and Hugh will get their happy ending just like Johnny and Shannon and Joey and Aoife.

Releasing 10 released those tears!
Absolutely knocked this newest installment out of the park for me.God tier series and THE most anticipated read for my 2025.Did not disappoint at all. Managed to get me to see Lizzie in a different light as someone who also has a mood disorder from a very young age. This book is going to be very polarizing. As for me? I ate it up, hard topics and all while shedding tears and demolishing the tissue box for hours.
