The flys don't go near it, just fly round it?? been up since Thursday. 30+and Friday. Flys every where by position in was mounted. Very poor product.

This works well as long as it's not windy, a bit of wind and the hanging strap breaks and down it comes, it looks ok so i suppose if you didn't mind hanging it indoors it would work

This works well! After reading a few reviews I wasn't expecting this to work until after a few days. However, day 1 there was 1 fly! I have loads in my garden so just the 1 tiny nuisance wasn't great. After another day or so, I scattered a teaspoon of brown sugar around the entrance to the trap and wow! Within a few hours there were 7 flies! Definitely recommend adding something sweet to lure them in. I'm a bit worried about maggots growing in there but going to try and ignore it and deal with how to throw it out in a few weeks time!!! It's lovely to be able to eat lunch in the garden again though without pesky flies getting in the way! If flies irritate you I think it's worth giving this a try considering the price. I do feel like they can escape though? I have seen one or two fly out but not sure if that's because they didn't fully enter the trap or if they managed to work out how to get out

I placed the bag near my bins and it’s been there for 3 days. Not one fly has been attracted to it. I read the instructions and did everything it stated.

This is rubbish!!!! More chance of catching flies with your mouth open. Been up 2 week not a single fly. DO NOT BUY

Absolutely a waste of money and timeI followed the instructions hung it on a tree stood back to see the flies appear and the thing fell from the tree and split all over the garden on inspection the plastic hanger hook had pulled out off the bag no fault of mine so now I've got flies all over my lawn instead

Rubbish. I brought this because the amount of flys and horseflies in my garden, put it up it’s been lovely warm weather and I’ve caught 1 wasp in about 5 days!

We installed it and for the first week there wasn't much movement going on. Well... suddenly it become so full of flies that you couldn't see the water anyore. I had to throw it away when there wasn't literally anymore space for a single fly and maggots started to grow. The only downside is the smell that release. But really worth all the pennies, you just have to be patient for a few days.
