Speed Dealer Black Anodized Aluminum Short Velocity Stack for S&S Super E G Carb

I've wanted to install a velocity stack for a long time, but most of the other options out there are incredibly expensive for what they are. This one is made from anodized aluminum, and it's designed to work with the included steel mesh filter.In my opinion, nothing says "old school chopper" like a velocity stack, but a word of warning: if you haven't run one before, you need to be aware of a few things.Firstly, without a filter element and cover, this mod makes your carburetor vulnerable to rain, dust, insects, any anything else that might get sucked into it. If you live in a dusty, dry place or frequently ride on dusty roads, this is likely not a modification you want to make.Secondly, you will very likely need to re-jet your carburetor after installation of a velocity stack. Your engine will be getting quite a bit more oxygen, which will throw off your air/fuel mixture. This can result in your motor running lean, which if uncorrected can lead to your heads overheating, causing damage.Thirdly, you will need to remove the backing plate on your Super E or G carburetor in order to install this velocity stack. If your backing plate is connected to your head breather tubes, you will need to replace the breather tubes with breather bolts (shown in the attached picture as the black bolts with silver centers on either side of the carburetor). If your enrichener control is the stock S&S lever, you will need to replace it with an aftermarket control that is not connected to the backing plate.Installation is ridiculously simple once you have the carb set up as described above. Just place the stack over the steel mesh filter on the carburetor and tighten the three hex bolts, and you're done!

Awesome product. Mounted on S&S super G carb. I only use these on my bikes with the S&S carbs. They work great and the filter screen supplied with it does a good job keeping out everything.
