When it came time to upgrade our car seat, we opted for the Cybex and are very glad we did. Our three year old used to love the crash bar and used it as a little table for playing on, she doesn’t have it anymore and is very comfortable in the seat, often falling asleep on long journeys! Our one year old is delighted with her new one. We now own three of these and a joie 360. This is much easier for getting the one year old into as she is an escape artist. Fully recommend, easy to install, comfortable, easy to clean (vomit tested!) and I feel my girls are safe in it. My only downside is that reaching over them to clip the belt in is a bit awkward in my astra, but easily done with the qashqai. Definitely easier with a higher up car!

Bought as a second seat, with the small one usually in a harnessed, swiveling Group 1 seat. Compared to harnessed Group 1 seats this a bit of a faff to use, as the belt needs to be routed over the impact cushion then into the seat belt lug, although once you've done it a few times it's very hard to get wrong. On the upside it's much lighter, doesn't need a top-tether, is well cushioned and really well made. Our older one is in the Group 2/3 version of this seat (i.e. once the cushion is removed) and seems to like it too.Of course what you really want to know is how well it protects the child when you have a crash. Thankfully I can't say, but the Which/ ADAC ratings for the seat are good.

Easy to use, as long as you don’t mind reaching over child to get to seat belt buckle. Our son much prefers it, he always falls asleep with head in good position, and he hasn’t complained about being uncomfortable once, which he used to do regularly. He likes his ‘table’ for playing with toys on. We got the cup holder too which is useful addition. Takes up much less depth than last britax 9-18kg seat so much more leg room for him and passenger. Only downside is difficultly buckling in if having a tantrum.... 😆 If you want forward facing seat I’d thoroughly recommend. And it turns into high back booster so last seat we will need making it great value.

Much smaller than other group 1 seats and can be easily converted to group 2 and 3I did contact Cybex to confirm it can be used in cars without ISODIX and they confirmedVery light, compact, easy to use.Fits in my Audi R8 easily which has narrow seats.Highly rated by Which for safety

We have chosen this CYBEX car seat for our 1 year old son due to the fact that our 4 year old also has a CYBEX model. This seat is lighter and easier to install. My son also feels very comfortable and secure when we are driving.I would recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely love the seat but we misplaced the impact shield after 6 months.Cybex originally took the order for a replacement one at £84 but after sending the wrong part they then said the part was unavailable and refunded the £84 with no consultation and this was 4 months after my order!I can still use the seat for an older child but that makes it an expensive choice. I will need a replacement for the younger child but I will choose a seat with straps that can’t be misplaced like the shield and choose a different brand in the hope they have better customer service.

I bought this for my daughter as she developed a habit of pushing her hands through the straps of her car seat. It was a distraction for me when I was driving to see in the mirror that she had got her hands out and made me super stressed. She has now had this car seat for many months and it solved the problem. She also looks quite comfortable when she falls asleep and rests her head on the lap section. A great product!
