What is the shelf life of can ed bread in terms of years

I bought a case of these a few years ago and the "best used by" date is 11/19/15. I think they would still be good for a year or so beyond that, as they are packed in airtight cans. So I would say a shelf life of 5 years is reasonable. And except for being a little bit high in sugar, it is a pretty tasty and wholesome bread that's great with honey, jam, peanut butter, etc.

Does the can require a can opener or have pop top?

The ones I bought require a can opener.
