It just works, all the time, and the company have great support.
I ordered the unit one day and got it the next. My old inverter started acting up and I needed something fast to power the house. I got it mounted on the wall the next day and connected batteries and solar power but the display had problems and I couldn't select the setup parameters. This morning I called SunGoldpower and talked with their after sales support. Within 2 hours they had me try a simple fix and the unit now works. I was able to setup the parameters and even powered some power hungry things in my shop. Tomorrow it gets wired into the entire house.Great customer service and support people. As far as I can tell this product saved me money over other brands and has had good reviews.

It's a powerhouse inverter!
So far this Sungold(SRNE) inverter is a beast powering any load I throw at it. Have it powering my off grid 50-amp RV and doesn't break a sweat with 2 15k BTU AC's, electric hot water heater, microwave, and electric burner running at once.It was kind of a pain to make all the AC out connections because the inverter connectors only accept max 8 gauge wire for some reason. Took quite a bit of effort to get my 4 gauge AC wiring to work. An inverter this big needs to accept 4 gauge wire especially on the neutral connection.Other than that the settings were easy to configure, my 7.5kW of solar PV is working great, and the unit is whisper quiet.I also got it communicating with Solar Assistant after buying a SRNE USB to wifi port cable on Amazon for remote monitoring. Make sure the Solar Assistant software is up to date if you try this.

### Product Review: SunGoldPower SPH10048P All-in-One Solar Charge InverterThe SunGoldPower SPH10048P all-in-one solar charge inverter was deployed to manage a hybrid power system for my workshop, paired with an Eco-Worthy EW-SRB48100-BV2.0 48V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery. Note that for 120V single-phase grid power, a jumper must be installed between L1 and L2; otherwise, the unit powers up but does not function correctly nor provide an error code indicating this issue. Initial operation revealed a charging current limited to 1A DC, significantly below the configured 25A maximum (Setting 28) and the system’s 100A total capacity (Setting 7). This technical evaluation details the diagnostic process, resolution, and performance assessment based on operational data, user manual (v3.0, 41 pages), and correspondence with SunGoldPower support, with the 25A setting reflecting my lab setup’s capacity after initial difficulties.#### System Configuration and Initial PerformanceThe inverter was configured per the manual (pages 23–28) with key parameters recorded on September 18, 2025, : Setting 1 = Uti (utility-first mode), Setting 6 = SNU (solar + utility charging), Setting 4 = 49.2V (likely a 230V typo, adjusted to 120V for US grid), Setting 7 = 100A (max charge current), Setting 9 = 58.4V (absorption voltage), Setting 11 = 58.4V (float voltage, exceeding LiFePO4 norms), Setting 28 = 25A (max utility charge), Setting 33 = pyl (Pylontech BMS protocol), and Setting 68 = 0 (single-phase with neutral). The battery, initially at 51.1V (~20–30% SOC), exhibited balanced cell voltages (3.19V ±0.007V) and normal temperatures (34.4–35.6°C), per BT_BMS app data.Initial charging showed a 1A rate, suggesting a BMS or algorithm restriction. A breaker trip occurred during a BMS bypass (Setting 32 = SLA, Setting 8 = USER, RS485 disconnected) with the default max charge current, but this was later identified as a lab setup error, providing a useful observation of excessive current draw rather than a fault in the battery or inverter.#### Troubleshooting and ResolutionDiagnostic efforts included adjusting Setting 01=SUB and Setting 06=SNU per support’s recommendation, which had no effect with the initial Uti and SNU settings. The manual (page 23) notes BMS communication via RS485 (Setting 32 = 485) overrides user settings, suggesting a limitation. Support (Penny, @sungoldpower.com) requested scrolling screen videos and settings images, hypothesizing BMS control. No Alarm 58 (BMS communication failure) was observed.Adjusting the max charge current to 25A (Setting 28) after the “BMS bypass” was enabled resulted in a successful 100% charge to 58.4V, indicating the default setting caused the observed 1A current draw. However, a “discharge and recharge” test with 485 communication (BMS enabled, Setting 32 = 485, Setting 33 = pyl) reverted to 1A draw. Today, September 19, 2025, I changed Setting 01 from Uti to SUB (mains power prioritizes load before charging). This restored the 25A charge rate, with the battery at 52.79V (DC voltage) and reached 100% charge. A planned “discharge and recharge” test (simulating a power outage)constituted of, running a load (heat gun 1200w) and after turning the load off, I connected lab power to the inverter and turned the AC breaker on. The inverter sensed the AC and went into charge mode at 25A DC to the battery. (A Pass)#### Performance AssessmentThe SPH10048P demonstrates robust performance with a 48V 10kW capacity, supporting grid-tied and off-grid operation (manual page 5). The LCD provide real-time data (e.g., 0.8A/0.3A currents pre-adjustment), and the system handled lab loads effectively. The BMS dependency introduces a potential limit; the manual lacks clear communication troubleshooting guidance. Firmware updates via USB-B (page 34) are recommended but not detailed.Support was responsive with requests for media and suggestions.#### ConclusionRated 4/5, the SPH10048P is a capable hybrid inverter for technical users navigating BMS challenges. The 25A charge was achieved by adjusting Setting 28, with Setting 01=SUB today resolving the 1A issue post-discharge, aligning with a 50A lab setup recommendation (manual page 14). Recommendations include clarifying BMS troubleshooting in the manual, optimizing Setting 11 to 54V, and enhancing firmware. The recent discharge/recharge test and subsequent 25A charge mode confirm stability with Setting 01=SUB. Contact SunGoldPower( [email protected] ) with logs if needed. As of September 19, 2025, the system is operational at 25A DC charging.

5 Stars... Exceeded Expectations!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Simple... price... features... and reputation. I did a lot of digging, and the Sungold 8k Hybrid Inverter checked all the boxes... high power output... solid build quality... hybrid functionality... and the ability to work with solar, batteries, and the grid. A lot of other brands felt overpriced or overcomplicated.Plus, I saw enough real-world reviews and videos showing this thing in action to feel confident it wasn’t just spec-sheet fluff. And now that I’ve installed it... I can say it was the right call. Rock solid performance without needing to babysit it every day.I recently purchased and installed the Sungold 8k Hybrid Inverter... and to say I’m impressed would be an understatement. This thing is built like a tank and performs even better than I expected. Once it's set up and configured, it’s completely hands-off... just the way I like it. It quietly does its job and hasn't missed a beat.It even charges my EV6 without breaking a sweat... which honestly shocked me. I figured I’d be tripping breakers or babysitting amps, but nope... smooth sailing. Sungold, you sly overachiever. The only minor hiccup was the manual... let’s just say it reads more like a riddle in spots. Some settings only work properly when paired with another specific setting... and that connection isn’t clearly explained. But I emailed support, and they got back to me fast... helped straighten out a few things... and now the system is running exactly how I want it.Already planning to buy more from Sungold... solid gear... great support... and a setup that just works. Highly recommend.

It works and fast transfer
Well so far so good. wiring was straightforward. One huge thing you should know is; In the past i had a different AIO inverter but every time it went from Utility to battery my TV woukd turn off. no matter what settings I tried to adjust the tv would turn off. However with this sungold 6500 watts 2 phase inverter, my tv does not turn off when it goes from utility to battery. I am happy with it. the wifi app is not as useful and does not even give you tbe battery voltage just a SOC which is not really helpful. Over all I recomend and say this is a much better purchase than the lower costing units.
