I am getting my life back because of Lifted. I remember dealing with anxiety at an early age. I was 4 when I started having itching and hives related to stressors. I remember lying in bed at 7 worrying about my Dad who had been hurt. I wondered how we could get him out of the house if it caught fire. Pretty heavy for a seven year old.At 12, I first though of suicide. It was the late 70s and mental issues were very stigmatized. My mother didn't want my issues on my "permanent record." It was around that time that I was first treated for stomach ulcers.I continued to suffer for many years. At 30, I was severely depressed. I had to quit a job I loved, was separated from my husband, and suicidal. I ended up with a diagnosis of bipolar disorder. I started meds... and was found to be treatment resistant. At one point, I was taking around 20 pills a day.The meds created a new set of problems. Besides the expense (one med was about $600 a month. All combined, about $1400), the side effects were horrible. Parkinson's type tremors, nausea, dull thinking, fatigue and sleepiness, no feelings, and severe body pain. I even ended up with a fibromyalgia diagnosis and was given more meds for that.There were days I could sense that these meds were toxic and I could feel they were going to kill me. I took them, though, because my mental state without them caused so many relationship issues.Two years ago, a series of events caused me to try tapering off, even the fibromyalgia meds. I was in pain anyway and knew I'd soon be in a wheelchair. I was spending most of my time in bed, crying.The detox process was awful. My anxiety came back with a vengeance and I felt absolute rage all the time. But I started to feel better physically. My fibromyalgia pain was not as bad. I was able to get up and do more. I knew I needed help mentally, but the physical was improving.I tried a variety of natural type things... essential oils, meditation, vitamins and minerals without much success. The anxiety never turned off. My depression was dark. My anger was volatile. I wanted to die if this was going to go on the rest of my life. I even tried going back on a mood stabilizer. But within a few days, the pain was back.I stopped immediately and was merely existing. In October 2018, I had been reading some about the brain gut connection. Knowing I'd been plagued with stomach issues most of my life helped it just make sense. I'd tried other strains of probiotics which had helped my IBS and they had helped.When I found the Lifted ad, I knew I had to try. I was taking a prescription med for anxiety, but it wasn't helping and I really think natural when possible is better.I started taking one...in a few days, I upped the dose to two. After about three or four weeks, I noticed I wasn't as on edge. I was coping with stress better. I had more energy.After a few months, I'm feeling the best I have in years. I'm 51 and I feel like there's hope for the first time in 20+ years.I'm so excited about this product, I have told everyone and ordered it for my sister who has pretty severe anxiety and a friend who has alcoholism. I am now on Day 9 of taking your histamine-free Bifidus Mood Booster. I cannot tell you how surprised I am at the continued improvement I am seeing in symptoms. I have struggled for years -- literally for years -- and wish I had known about the histamine issue sooner. Or maybe it's the use of a different strain of probiotic that is helping me.At the risk of being rude or too graphic, for years I was waking up very early every day with very loose stools, and it was clear that I was having trouble digesting fats and other foods in my system. The GI doc I've been seeing brushed everything off because I wasn't experiencing pain. I have also had various allergy symptoms, including watery eyes, itchy skin, and ongoing sinus problems, that made me uncomfortable. I couldn't drink a glass of wine without flushing. Until recently, I never connected the allergy symptoms with my digestive problem.Day by day, after little more than a week on your product, my stool quality is nearly normal, the sinus issue is improving, and I am definitely feeling less anxiety. I feel like I have more energy, more like my old self.I do plan to try the Super Strains (histamine free) after I finish this bottle, just to see how that works for me. I am so grateful that I found Lifted! I am a disabled single mother of 3, and finances (and healthy issues) are the cause of my stress and anxiety. On top of that, last year I had a total bowel resection, and afterwards I got a terrible infection that resulted in Colitis...and the last thing I needed was MORE PAIN. My surgeon and GI both recommended a Probiotic, and for the first 8 months post op, I bought whatever was on sale at the grocery store. I never felt any improvement (or any negative side effects), but I thought it was one of those supplements that was "doing something", you just weren't aware of it. WRONG! As I mentioned previously in my review, I am a single mom of 3, and not working thanks to being disabled, so sometimes (OK a lot of times...) self care has to take a backseat to the kids needs (especially with them insisting on eating EVERY DAY! LOL I'm kidding!) But seriously, I felt guilty wanting to buy my supplements when they're eating ice cubes for lunch, so I didn't. And let me tell you, I FELT it with this one! This ONE lil pill takes the place of at least THREE different prescriptions- for anxiety, colitis and 1 I didn't realize until I ran out, for migraines! Within days of taking my last Lifted, the constant worry flutter in my tummy returned, alone with killer stomach cramps and a headache that I've had 24/7 for over 3 weeks that nothing, and I mean nothing, helps. So even if these seem a lil pricey comparitively, they're NOT, and remember you're getting a 2 month supply! AND it takes the place of at least 3 prescriptions...I'd call that a downright BARGAIN. Plus I love supporting a women (and lovely to boot) owned company! Take it from me, I learned the hard way...if you can help it, do NOT stop taking this!
