Barefoot shoes have the following features: Flexibility - The feet are free to move and engage the ground naturally, preventing muscle immobility and atrophy. Thin sole - The sole of the shoe is thin and firm which allows for better proprioception and feedback from the ground. Minimal or zero Heel-to-Toe drop - This allows the feet to be in a neutral position which supports a healthy posture and puts less stress on the joints. Wide toe box - The toes are not compressed but have room to spread, leading to better balance. Choose Oranginer Men's Minimalist Barefoot Shoes! - There's no better feeling than your bare feet against the soft ground, your toes squishing in the mud and the great connection you feel with the earth. - Minimalist running shoes,These are a hybrid of barefoot shoes and traditional running shoes. They’re nimble, lightweight and flexible, with little-to-no arch support, but contain more cushioning than barefoot shoes. They’re an excellent way to ease into barefoot running, or to simply get a better feel for the terrain without forgoing all midsole padding. It allows your foot to move as though you were wearing no shoe at all, or as close to it as possible. - Many runners incorporate barefoot or minimalist running into their training—say, as a workout once or twice a week, or as a warm up drill before a run in more cushioned or supportive footwear. This can be a great way to reap some of the benefits—an opportunity to strengthen your arches and improve your running form—without giving up your traditional running shoes.

Great first impression. Really comfortable and roomy but snug!
Literally, the first day of receiving these, so I may update once they’re more worn in. Motivation for buying them was for gym weight training. Please treat this as first impression:Slightly heavier than I expected, but not to any detriment. They feel substantial, so my feeling is they’re a hybrid between barefoot and a running shoe.I have wide feet and I’m really happy with the fit.Zero packaging experience, just literally arrived in a plastic clear sealed bag. The elastic draw laces are thin. Effective, but bit concerned they might fail in time. That said, they have a clever Velcro end to prevent the loose send from flapping.I have size 12 up feet, and I’ve gone for 48’s, which fit really well.I’d say the heel strike isn’t great, but I appreciate that’s kind of the point of barefoot running, that you don’t heel strike.Feels like good integration of fabric to rubber sole.In short, really happy with them. Hoping they serve me well.

Great wide toe shoe
It is a great wide toe shoe, better than any regular narrow toe shoe. The front end can feel little funny with the extra rubber on the toes, could feel little bit irritating sometimes, the shoe has a good insole, very foamy (it is not a flat insole) . It is good for walks and daily use but sure not for hiking or anything little more than daily use. Overall i like it and still use it.
