Q: Which specific woods are used to make up the gourmet blend?

I had the same question and when I reached out to the company they said it was a custom blend of hickory, maple, cherry, and oak. They've done something right because I can't find anything that it doesn't work with. It does a great job with classic bbq like boston butts, ribs, and brisket but it is also balanced enough not to overpower chicken and the salmon I have cooked with it. I've bought multiple bags and I have been pleasantly surprised by the consistency. Honestly, it works so well I've moved away for keeping a bunch of different flavors around. Hope this helps.

Q: Can i use bear mountain bbq pellets in my traeger grill?

I have been using the Bear Mountain Hickory pellets exclusively in my Traeger grill. These pellets burn hot. Lowest stable temperature 190F. Highest stable temperature 500F

Q: Has anyone used these in the Pitts and spitts 1250 and how did they do?

They work good, pecan has a nice aroma for poultry this 4th going to mix with a fruit wood.
