Best Nose Sucker Ever!
We have had this amazing machine for a year now, and I must say that it is absolutely the BEST nose sucking apparatus I've seen or used. It has been worth every penny we spent on it, and if it broke down today, I'd buy another one before tomorrow (but it works as well today as it did on the day we bought it).We use it on full suction power for our (almost) 4-year old, and reduce the power for the 2 babies in the house, and it really pulls out the boogers. Sometimes you may need to pre-treat the kiddos with a few drops of saline to loosen em up, but if this machine can't get them cleared out, then nothing short of suction at a hospital will get it.A few things we've learned since we got this booger vacuum:- Don't just go to town with this thing the first time you use it, let your kid explore it for a minute, then turn it on and let your child "play" with it (check the suction with a finger, touch it to their cheek, etc.). Our 3-year old isn't a big fan of having his nose sucked (he also hates the floor vacuum), so giving him a little power over the machine really helps keep him calm. Our 9-month old will calmly sit back and relax as we suck her nose out.- Make sure their mouth is open (even a little bit), it helps create a good airflow that really gets those boogies out.- Short bursts will do a fine job if your kid pulls away a lot, try not to be too hold them in the same place for too long so you can get a good long suction on them, you don't want to make it a negative experience.- Wash out the booger catcher as soon as you're done, although it isn't really hard to clean if you let the mucus dry out in it, it is super-easy to clean while the snot is still fresh.- Get a tiny brush for cleaning straws to clean out the narrow tubes in the booger catcher.- Don't turn the booger catcher upside-down while using it, or you could get snot in the long air tube.I highly recommend one of these nasal aspirators - there is no comparison to any other products out there.

Don’t sleep on this
Why did I not get this sooner?! This should be a baby registry must have. I got it when my baby had RSV and then a few weeks later he had the flu. The amount of boogies this thing sucked out over those few weeks is astounding. It is quite loud and my baby hates it, but it is extremely effective.

IT WORKS!
In a fit of middle-of-the-night desperation, with a snotty toddler who had been keeping us up for weeks, I finally bit the bullet and painfully dropped a buck fifty on this thing, which, to me at the time, just seemed like a crazy amount of money. I had alllllmost purchased it a month before, but couldn't bring myself to spend the money, but decided against it due to sticker shock.Let me tell you—this is money VERY well spent. New parents quickly discover how awful it is to have a small child who can't/won't blow their nose. Colds can last for weeks, and if kiddo can't sleep (because of gagging, coughing, sneezing, etc.), then neither can mom or dad, to say nothing of how annoying it can be to have a toddler yelling "TISSUE TISSUE TISSUE" at you in 10 minute intervals every single day. This thing is the Porche of nasal aspirators. We've tried EVERYTHING. Someone gave us a battery-operated version with our first kid. The thing never had the power needed to get the junk out, and ate batteries for breakfast. We went the the much acclaimed Nosefrida, which, despite being disgusting, didn't seem to get much junk out. I guess I never tried sucking with all my might, but I likely would have thrown up.Then we went old-school and dug out the little bulb that the hospital sent home from us. That worked okay (and was the right price), but it really had to get shoved up there to get much out, and didn't work well if the consistency of the junk wasn't "just right"—too runny, and nothing came out; too thick, and the bulb just stayed compressed. We even tried jury rigging an old breast pump with the Nosefrida, which had the most suction, but would then shoot the stuff back into kiddos nose. Fail.Enter the Nosiboo. It has an adjustable suction dial so you can find the sweet spot for the consistency of whatever junk is up there on any given day. The thing is super easy to use out of the box. Super easy to clean. No dying batteries affecting power. You don't have to power the suction with your own lungs. And, it works FAST. No more pinning a kid down for five minutes to get them clean—you're done in 20 seconds. If it's 1am, and you're a desperate parent thinking to yourself "Am I crazy for thinking of spending that much on a glorified tissue??" the answer is no, you're not crazy. Worth it.
