Just what I needed (with one catch)
I use a lot of twine in the garden to tie up plants, and I was out of twine. I saw this PerkHomy Natural Jute Twine had a lot of twine for a good price and decided to give it a try.And it’s just what I was looking for.I’ve tried twine in the past that was thicker than this, and it just didn’t work for me. This thinner version is easier to tie and easier to wind around poles and stems. Since I am not planning on trying to hold up or hold together anything particularly heavy, this twine provides all the ‘holding strength’ for the ways that I will use it.Even more, especially when compared to metal like stays or plastic ‘string’, I like that this product will (eventually) wear away. Based on experience with using natural jute in the past, I may only get a season of use out of each piece of the twine that I use but that is perfectly okay with me.The only catch is that it’s not on a winder of any sort. So I worried that it would get all tangled up when I start using it. I then noticed that the end of the twine is on the top of the package near the hole in the middle. I cut a small slit in the package over that hole and pulled the end of the twin out. I then reinforced the hole with some masking tape to keep it from splitting the package further. I’m hoping this will work. Because it’s a good price for a lot of twine.

A Decent Twine
I recently purchased the PerkHomy specifically for tying up cardboard boxes. After using it for a while, I'm pleased with its performance. The twine is thin enough to be easy to tie, but not so thin that it's prone to breaking or tangling. It also has a nice weave that gives it a decent strength without being too bulky. While I can't complain about the twine itself, I don't like the pancake shape of the spool. It advertises itself a being better than the typical cylindrical roll, but I'd rather have the cylinder any day.

Excellent jute fiber twine! All natural
Excellent twine. It's sturdy, durable and a good thickness. I am using the twine for art projects. Jute fiber twine is not meant to be soft. It is rough which is exactly what I want. I use it with homemade dyes I make and then loosely sew the twine into fabric pieces I make over an assemblage. The twine works really well. It's well made, no smell other than the natural smell of twine.I would recommend this also for every day use like tie up boxes for recycling day, tying paper around the sandwiches, etc. This twine should not be used to lift or drag heavy objects as it is too thin of a twine to do so. You should get a thicker more braided twine for that kind of work.Twine is my special interest. I love all sorts of it. Cotton, linen, jute, silk. You name it I use it.What I look for is a good coil, made of distinct strands wound or braided together tightly. This is what you should look for as well as a loose coil or loose twist or braid is more likely to break during minimal use.

This is a higher quality twine suitable for crafts
This is a really nice looking twine with consistent thickness and no weak spots. I use a lot of twine in the garage for bundling up small branches and cardboard, and this looked like an inexpensive roll, but after receiving it, it would be a shame for wasting it on yardwork type stuff. Like it says it's really nice for arts and crafts and giftwrapping. It's not as frayed and it doesn't give me splinters, but it's a little bit thinner and the roll is a little smaller than I expected, but it's very inexpensive, so it's cool. Aside from crafts, it's a really nice strong and durable string to use for other household purposes and is much better than a piece of yarn, like for a rustic looking lamp pull cord or something, or tying a loop through a tool or kitchen utensil to make it easier to hang. I'm sure I'll think of a bunch of uses for this and it's handy to have laying around the house. Thanks a lot for letting me try this out.

Quality twine in a compact package
This thin jute twine is very handy to have on hand for various uses in the garden and workshop. It's a practical and biodegradable material for securing plants or bundling when needed. The twine appears to be consistently made with good quality and is packaged compactly. I kept a small flat box from another item that fits the rolled twine perfectly. I created a dispenser by cutting a small slit into the center of the plastic twine package. The precise amount needed can be neatly pulled through the opening. This durable twine is a good value for a quantity of 600 ft.

Nice to keep on hand.
I purchased this sturdy jute twine specifically to craft a cat toy, as its natural texture and durability make it perfect for such projects. The cord is flattened, which is ideal for creating my toy. However, before I could start on the cat toy, I needed to use the twine to replace a frayed cord on a spatula we use in our kitchen. I have found this jute twine to be incredibly versatile and useful around the house, whether for DIY projects or decorative purposes.

2 mm Thick So Take Needs Into Account
Review of PerkHomy Natural Jute Twine 600 Feet Long Twine String for Crafts Gift Wrapping Packing Gardening Crochet Knitting Macrame Decor (Brown 600 feet Flat) sold by pudekuajingdianzishangwuyouxianzerengongsi who is doing business on Amazon as PUDE-Direct. The brand appears to be PH PerkHomy. This a flattened out roll as opposed to the cones that I am used to. Can’t see that this makes any difference as I pull twine out as-needed from the center anyway so that the shape is retained. This is a 2 mm thickness so is more flexible and also not as strong as thicker twine will be. This meets my planned and limited use for twine anyway. As someone else mentioned earlier, jute tends to have a slight fragrance which I find reminiscent of baled hay.
