Cyberpunk 2077 on the switch 2 is fantastic
This game runs fantastic on the switch 2 I haven’t had any issues with it so far the only issues I have seem to be driving around in handheld mode sometimes I’ll get some frame drops. It seems in certain areas when I’m driving around, but otherwise it plays great. They added in a mouse controls and motion controls, and all that is a lot of fun. I have mainly been playing it with the pro controller. I have not gotten to the DLC so I don’t know how it plays at that point. I have heard that the framer isn’t as stable supposedly but there’s also a lot more going on in the environment. There’s a lot more particles and all sorts of stuff I keep seeing a lot of people they don’t even have a switch say that this game looks terrible. It really doesn’t and something to keep in mind that is coming from somebody that does not have a super high-end PC, but my graphics card still cost more alone than what to switch 2 cost I have a PlayStation five as well and I mainly play PC and I think this game looks beautiful both and handheld mode and when you have it docked to a TV I currently have a dock to my 27 inch ROG 1440 P mini LED monitor through the HDMI cable that came with the console and I have absolutely zero complaints. I am also mainly playing it in performance mode now something to be noted is in the settings. There is graphics mode for handheld and TV and if you try and do performance mode in TV, it says the requirements are your TV must have a high refrigerate 120 Hz/HFR if not, this mode will not be supported and will be grayed out You also have the option in the settings to play with the HDR settings by pushing down on the left joystick that will bring up your HDR settings. You can adjust the maximum brightness tone mapping mint point paper white HDR 10 PQ saturation I have not personally played with any of that also earlier I did not mention this is also a fully HDR 10 monitor. I definitely have to say this game gates way too much hate on the switch honestly is already getting too much in general for what you’re getting out of this game on this console it is definitely a great way to play it. I never finish the game. I plan on finishing it if need be I will add an update later down the road to this review and I will date it when I add in the edit but as of now I’m about five hours into it. I was waiting on my pro controller to show up and it didn’t get delivered when it was supposed to so currently as of Saturday I’m about five hours into it after lunch.

Looks and runs amazing on switch 2
I'm impressed! The graphics are just as good as steam deck. Steam deck does look ever so slightly better but hardly. It runs super smooth on switch 2. This is one of my all time favorite games and can't wait to play through it again(the last time was when it first came out). Great job to projekt red. Always happy to buy this game over and over just to support them

One of the best releases on the switch 2
I can’t believe how good this version of cyberpunk 2077 is. Just as good as the PS5 and in my opinion even better because you can carry it portable too and play on the go, butter smooth with VRR on the portable amazing switch 2 is for real.

An Unbelievable Port!
Bringing Cyberpunk 2077 to the Nintendo Switch 2 seemed like a far-fetched idea when the game first launched in 2020. But CD Projekt Red has done the unthinkable: they’ve delivered a full-fledged version of their massive open-world RPG to a handheld console—with shockingly few compromises. The most immediate takeaway is how stunning Night City looks on the Switch 2. Thanks to the system’s improved hardware and OLED screen, the game boasts vibrant colors, crisp detail, and impressive lighting effects. While it’s not graphically identical to high-end PCs or PlayStation 5/Xbox Series X versions, it holds its own admirably. Smart visual adjustments—like slightly reduced crowd density and scaled-back reflections—ensure the world feels alive without sacrificing performance. And that performance is remarkably solid. The game targets 30fps and generally sticks to it, even during heavy action sequences. Load times are fast, menus are snappy, and controls remain tight and responsive. The result is a smooth, immersive experience that never feels “too big” for a portable system. What’s even more impressive is how complete the game is. This is Cyberpunk 2077 in full: all story content, side quests, voice acting, and cutscenes are here. The Phantom Liberty expansion and all quality-of-life updates from the past few years are included, making this version one of the most polished to date. Nothing feels stripped down or left behind—this is the same rich, choice-driven RPG fans came to love after its redemption arc.CD Projekt Red’s ability to scale such a dense, complex game to handheld form without turning it into a cloud-only or compromised version is nothing short of remarkable. The port proves that, with careful optimization and respect for the source material, even the most ambitious AAA titles can have a second life in portable form.If you’re new to Cyberpunk 2077, this is an excellent entry point. If you’ve played it before, the ability to dive back into Night City on the go—whether on the couch, in bed, or on a commute—is a compelling reason to return.
