Awesome retractable gate!
Very easy to install. Works great. My dogs haven't been successful crawling under thank goodness! I didn't even need to use the extra adhesive. It's strong enough for them not to crawl under.

Very useful to contain kids/pets
We bought 2 of these to cordin off the den and keep our 1 year old from venturing out of view. Material is sturdy and not a hard install. Comes with a locking mechanism. The retracting mechanism works well enough, from time to time you may need to extract it fully and let it retract to "strighten up" the barrier as it is fabric and will crease or bind if you let it retract to far upward/downward. I believe my child got alittle courageous and pulled up on it to much and stripped the lock mechanism so one of my barriers won't lock. It all in how you install it but she has also learned she can get out by laying down and sliding under the barrier (thanks to the cat teaching her this) or she can unlatch the bottom of the barrier where it meets the wall and escape. Overall happy with my purchase.

Perfect!
Feels sturdy enough to keep the lil one and dog out of the kitchen. Very simple to install, took me about 10 minutes.

Extra wide baby gate
We love this gate. We have an 85 Inch wide open room that we tuned into our twins play room. This gate helps us keep them in that room. The gate is nice because it adjusts very easily. Easy to also open and close.

It only closes from left to right
The gate seems reasonably well built, and I was able to adapt it to serve my purpose, but the way this one is built you can only put the roller on the left side facing you and you can only put the catches on the right side. I did not realize that when I bought it. I was able to adapt it by doing some cutting and trimming then having to flip the end around 180° to get it to catch. It makes it much more difficult to use. I bought a 72-in version at the same time and it uses hooks which allows it to close either direction. I really wish the longer one had the same setup, it would have been perfect.

Good product
A little difficult to install and operate however it does the job I needed it to do.

Replacement working well; first one was defective
*UPDATED*Changed to 4 stars for good customer service and a good replacement product. The first one I received was apparently defective. Customer service reached out and offered to refund or replace it, so I chose a replacement. It works great and is much easier to extend, only a bit of resistance when it gets near its full length. No issues with retracting yet. I do have to keep it very straight and level when retracting or it can get creased and kinked a bit, but it's not a big issue.___________________________________________________Not impressed. I used this to cover an 11-foot opening in my house where a wall was taken out to keep my one-year-old contained. Installation was a bit of a pain with the baseboards but I got the brackets more or less lined up and it worked fine for a little while. However, from the start, it was very difficult to unroll once it got past about 6 feet. There was a lot of tension on it and it made a bad squeaking sound when unrolling. Getting it to 11' and hooking it on the brackets was a struggle. I don't know if mine was defective or if that's normal once you extend it to a certain length. The real issue is that it stopped retracting after a few weeks and only maybe 15 uses. I can't even retract it by hand, it's like the reel got stuck. I know that I was stretching it to almost its limit at 11 feet, but it should be designed to go its full length without issue. Would not recommend.

Happy with the length, wish mesh was sturdier
This was long enough to separate our kitchen from our living room which is an 11 foot gap between the walls. It was easy to install and seems like the hardware will hold up well. However, there is a small gap between the floor and the mesh which my German Shepherd quickly discovered he could use to bend the mesh and crawl under, or just jump over it all together. If you are using this for larger dogs keep this in mind. I’m hoping my toddler will not be able to figure out that the mesh is flexible and he can crawl under, but other than that it seems to be very functional.
