Jack Black Deep Dive Glycolic Cleanser

Simply brilliant! There are many products like this on the market but this one has the best ingredient profile and delivers the best results of the ones i've tried. Doesn't dry the skin out at all which is my main gripe with products containing clay or charcoal. Unlike other reviewers I find that this product lathers fine and a little goes a long way. I have used it twice a day for just over a week and my pores are clear, my shave after is always close and my skin never dry. Can't ask for more than that. The fact that the product uses clean ingredients that don't sound like a chemical essay also makes me happy to buy it again. Highly recommended.

Great! This definitely does not remove blackheads as far as I can see, using it twice daily for over 2 months now, but it does effectively clean my face and stop any new blackheads from arising. Good price on amazon, especially with prime :)

This is the view of my adult son, who has sensitive, slightly oily skin that is still prone to the odd blemish. He's tried most of the major skin care names and some premium brands like Murad. This product, at 147ml, is less than the standard 150 or 200ml of most cleansers, which is something to bear in mind.3.5 stars for this, rounded up to five. When the tube is uncapped the cleanser has a greyish-green appearance, with tiny black flecks. The cleanser has volcanic ash listed as an ingredient. This doesn't give the cleanser a particularly gritty feel.The instructions say to work up a lather in the hands and apply to the face. With the cleanser effectively washing your hands before washing your face, this is really wasteful, and with just 147 ml in the tube, not recommended.The cleanser doesn't really lather, getting an effective amount of product mixed with water to apply to the face in this way uses double the amount required when the product is applied to a damp face and then worked to a semi -lather before rinsing off.It rinses off fairly easily and although it contains ash and does exfoliate, no irritation was experienced. Skin was left feeling cleansed and fresh.It can also be used as a rinse off face mask, but this isn't a particularly economical use of the product, as quite a lot is needed.

I decided to use this as a face mask, as per the instructions on the tube. I have oily skin, but also quite sensitive skin but was pleased that the mask not only left my skin feeling fantastically cleansed, but also did not cause any irritation. You leave it on for 10 minutes when using as a mask, and the mask has a slightly cooling feel on the skin. It washes off very easily. My oily patches are less obvious since I started using this product and I am very happy with the quality of it. It is unperfumed and is a reasonably generous sized tube, although it is possibly a little expensive to use on a daily basis.

Used on more mature, sensitive skin of someone who shaves on a daily basis, there were no signs of discomfort or irritation when using this cleanser. His skin feels really soft and clean and has proven so popular we are going to invest in other items from Jack Black which is a brand I'd never heard of before being offered this product to test.

First up does it cleanse the face, yes it does. Does it remove greasy residue and buildup, yes it does. Is it far more expensive than the other brands, yes it is!Ok so it does the job, but come on what extra is this going to do than the other leading mens brands for a much smaller fraction of the price! Washing the product off takes a little while as it does really get into the pores. I'll use the rest of it up but think I'll be going back to my normal brand after this, I prefer the smell and the application of what I've been using for the last couple of years.I like the tube and the product comes out very easily, the smell does remind me of window putty.
