First of all, I'm very happy with my purchase! My original sewing kit got left behind in a move and i was too broke to replace each individual item separately, so this was perfect. Here's the rundown:What I love:1. Absolutely recommend for a starter kit2. The extra space of the larger one makes a huge difference, and it's not too bulky. So get the bigger one!3. The basket is even prettier in person and super sturdy.4. The scissors, seam ripper and measuring tape are nice qualityWhat needs to be replaced:1. While the thread given is cotton, fairly generous and a nice range of color, it's not the best quality and a little frustrating to use. Still workable, just frustrating.2. The chalk pencil does nothing3. The needles have the tiniest eyes I've ever seen4. Both the needles and pins are flimsy and bend and break fairly easily, though also still workable5. The tomato pincushion is so strange and nearly impenetrable, while the yellow one is so thin that it's impossible to not have the pins poking out the other side. Ouch!Summary:I've used only what came with this kit to complete many small projects, so it's absolutely all you need to get going. It makes for a perfect starter kit that you can build on as you go. While some things are lacking, the sum of its parts i think makes it a very good deal!

My granddaughter has just started to sew and she loves crafts. I bought it and noted that it comes with all the basics things that should be in a sewing kit. I bought a few additional things that I added before I wrapped it and sent it to her. I bought some beautiful ribbons and small pieces of fabric that she will find a way to use with her crafts. She loved it and it made her happy. Beautiful and meaningful gifts for young and old girls alike. Thank you.

I chose the large size to replace my LARGE basket, but it is comparatively smaller. That’s the only disappointing thing about it. Otherwise, it’s very cute (makes me happy to look at it). It is of good quality and the accessories are of reasonably good quality. I’ll probably give it to my daughter in law since I have more ‘stuff’ than will fit in there. Wish you had a bigger one for me to purchase!

Perfect sewing kit. It's good quality, a great size, with a good insert for holding the most used items, and the lid has a needle holding puff and a pocket for holding your packages of needles or anything else. It also provides you with a lot of the basic items you need to hit the ground running - needles, pins, a large selection of half size thread, scissors, seam ripper, needle threader, measuring tape, a pin tomato, and fabric marking pencils.It gives you a strange sort of finger guard rather than a proper thimble, but aside from that, it's great. I ordered it in yellow with white polkadots and it's just such a cheerful colour and pattern that it makes me smile. I'd have paid twice as much for this and still been happy.

This sewing carry case is super nice and big enough to fit my sewing items in. The design print is very lovely. It has everything that I need for a beginner. I'm verry happy with my purchase.

I got this for the box.. not the stuff they send with it. Maybe 2 or 3 things they include are of any worth. However I’ve filled this with my sewing stuff and I’m happy. It’s cute enough that it can be on a shelf and add to your decor. I’m not a fan of the handle but it seems to be attached with good quality. Snap on front is a real snap and not for show (nice). Now that I’ve used this a few times I really like the tray... yes I would recommend this but remember the sewing tools sent with this are total junque. The box is worth the price.

This sewing kit comes with so much stuff. A very generous amount. Good for the beginner.

I wanted a kit that came with accessories without costing $40-$50.This is the perfect kit for novice and experienced seamstress like me. The print reminds me of one that my mother had years ago. Also, all of the accessories are quality made. I am very pleased with my kit. I put my tablet in the box to give you a sense of the kit's size. I am delighted with my sewing box and look forward to years of use.
