NKJV, Thinline Reference Bible, Large Print, Premium Goatskin Leather, Black, Premier Collection, Comfort Print: Holy Bible, New King James Version

I tried hard, but in the end, I couldn't resist ordering one of the Thomas Nelson Premier Collection New King James Version (NKJV) Large Print Thinline (LPT) Reference Bibles from Amazon for the unbelievably low price of $70. I ordered it last Wednesday, and it arrived yesterday. I immediately fell in love with it. Simply put, this is an exquisite premium Bible that’s gorgeous in every way.I found a whole lot to love about my new Nelson Premier Collection NKJV LPT Bible. It has a buttery-soft goatskin cover that is soft, supple, and has a beautiful grain. You can easily see the natural variances in the leather, anomalies that make each Bible unique. The cover also has beautifully precise perimeter stitching and quite a generous yapp that is designed to protect the stunningly gorgeous red-under-gold art gilding. Of course, this Bible has an edge lining, which is far superior to the more common (and cheaper) paste-down linings. The lining is calfskin and has a gold stamped gilt line around the inside perimeter. The Bible also has three good quality 3/8-inch (two black, one red) satin ribbons.This Bible features the Thomas Nelson NKJV typeface, which is a “Comfort Print” font designed by 2K/Denmark. The box says the font is 11-point, but in reality, I think it may be a bit smaller than that. Still, it's very easy on my eyes, and a joy to read. The page layout is wonderful. I especially like the red page and paragraph headers, page numbers, chapter numbers, and reference pilot numbers, all printed in a dark, easy to read red. The words of Jesus are printed in black, which I prefer.The box describes the text block paper as "Premium European Bible paper, 36 gsm,” and I believe it. It's without question the finest quality paper I've ever seen in a Bible. It’s thick, durable, and wonderfully opaque – there’s almost no ghosting anywhere.Other features include references located at the bottom of each page, mixed in with footnotes. There’s also a good concordance and eight brightly colored maps in the back; however, I don't see anything exceptional about the maps... they seem like pretty standard fare to me.The Thomas Nelson Premier Collection NKJV LPT Bible earns my highest recommendation.

I am amazed at the quality of this Bible. While the content generally is not in question when one buys a well-known translation of a Bible, the production quality may be. Well, rest assured that this Bible is one of the very best quality Bibles I've ever seen. It is high-quality, goat-skin-leather bound. This is a PREMIUM quality product that far exceeded my expectations when I ordered it. I never have owned a Bible that was so luxuriantly bound! It is so incredibly soft, pliable, or flexible in one's hands!. One must feel it in one's hands to believe it. The price is unbeatable. I am shocked at the high quality of workmanship put into this Bible for the price I paid. I highly recommend it not only for its leather cover, but its comfort 10-point print, its use of red lettering, its use of two-column formatting, the inclusion of a well-referenced index, plenty of well-labeled maps at the back, three ribbon markers, and what appears to be top-quality stitching in the binding process.

Quality cover, pages, fonts, colors- overall the most stunning Bible I’ve ever owned. Love how it isn’t too large or bulky to hold yet font is easy to read. Wish it was a red letter edition but font is black with red chapter heading. As a female with smaller hands, this fits beautifully.

When I say this is the most beautiful Bible I've ever seen, it genuinely is! I keep the case that it came in just to preserve the beauty alone. This goatskin leather covered Bible is soft to the touch, gold binding, 3 satin ribbons, 1 red, 2 black to mark your favorite verses, books or your progress within the word. Not to mention(just because of a personal love for this Bible)it smells genuinely amazing. The lettering is perfect for comfort reading and the pages are thin and sturdy. If I may say that this Bible feels like it was blessed before it even left where it was crafted. Beautiful representation of a truly Holy and Blessed Bible! Hallelujah and Amen! Thank you!!! This is my personal and most favorite Bible I own!

I love, love, this Bible. Very well made, easy to read and the leather cover is of great quality, along with its packaging. This is my first expensive Bible and it is worth every penny.I would definitely recommend this beautiful Bible. God is good. Thank you.

I bought this black NKJV bible for my husband, specifically to use in church - new thin line with the larger print (comfort font) it is great. Our pastor teaches directly from the word and is fast going to multiple scriptures & books - the thumb tabs help to keep up. Red letter two bookmark straps - really a great bible.To the man that said the pages were mixed up between Deuteronomy & Numbers you must have received a bad reject in error. The bible I received is chapter & verse correct. I purposefully compared to a different publisher and NIV to review. All there. Maybe if you read this give specific scriptures to help. But maybe your clever way to get people to read the richness of Old Testament.I recommend this bible - soft to touch well made for the price
