Outstanding workmanship
Absolutely love this sword great workmanship,attention to details is awesome Shopped around for about a year before moving on this one.Glad I did because at this price it is by far well worth it. Very Impressive
I am very pleased with my overall experience & more than happy with my new katana. Actual Damascus blade (not acid etched or false damasteel) impressive choji hamon & natural finish (clear coat instead of painted) on saya.Koshirae nice and tightly fit. And this Damascus blade is gorgeous. Its my 1st Damascus piece with a visible clay tempered homon line. Pretty neat. Likely to be my new favorite Katana. Considering ordering a matching Wakizashi, which needs to be custom ordered.Overall the quality and craftsmanship spent in making this sword, easily exceeds the cost I spent on its purchase.Very Impressive

Its nice.
For the price this is really nice. It does have some problems though. I took the handle off which was quite hard to do. That turned out to be decent though because it contained rust. The blade is actually pretty dirty and lightly Rusty below the handle. Its manageable but i found a small crack in the steel under the handle. The blade is fairly sharp except near the handle its blunt. When you take it apart you find manylittle problems. The small crack is the only concerning part. The reviews say so much about perfection which is far from true. For the price its nice. I'm considering the only way to get a great sword is spend a lot of money or build my own. I have done a lot of work to it since i got it. If you purchase take the handle off to oil it. That's why it rusted.
