Cervena Elk Strip Loin, Full - 4.25 lbs

I got this for my brother's birthday his wife ended up doing something amazing to it that it tasted like it came from a 10 star gourmet restaurant I swear it was the best tasting elk I ever had. 😃

It was my first time grilling Elk and it was fun. It came unfrozen in a box with ice packs. There was foam panels which served as a cooler. Amazing natural taste!

This was a great purchase that I made for my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day and we had thoroughly enjoyed the meet! However, I did notice that a fair majority of this was silver skin, and even with the silver skin on the scale it was under 4.25 pounds like the ad said it would be. I would have Expected the meat to weigh 4.25 pounds including the silver skin and been understanding of that, but it weighed just under 4 pounds including all of the silver skin. So by the time I removed the silver skin we were getting even less then 3.75 pounds of meat. :/

Meat very good. For some reason wild meat seems to taste better. Maybe because too much hard work going to getting wild meat. I don't know just expressing my opinion. But the meat is good.

Delicious. So very fresh. Plan to buy more but want lower price ( paid $198).I've told several friends about the elk I received; how fresh & tasty it was.
