Solace to do not list a sdf100t fan in their range, I suggest you ring 01903255424 , customer support. I suspect they are the direct replacement.

you need a hole through the wall to the outside air and you can then fit it to a wall

No not this model its a timer fan usually triggered by turn on the light, then when the light is turned off the fan runs on for the timed period. The standard one can be order as a pull switch, either off or on.

Q: I currently have a Silavent fan with a transformer can this one just replace it ?

My fan was installed by a qualified electrician and operates when the bathroom light is switched on but I am unable to pass opinion regarding the enquiry. I should add that I was not aware there were Silavent fans with a transformer, ours operates off the normal household 240v supply.
