Q: We ordered a similar pack that came from China. The surface of each was, like, oily and traps dust easily. Or do these have a smooth clean surface?

These are smooth but still get dirty very easily. It says they come clean with just water but this is not the case. What I found that worked to clean them was to use hand lotion and your fingers to wipe the dirt off. Then use a little baby powder to alleviate the stickiness & bring it back to its normal texture. Be careful of painted areas, they will come off.
