Originally bought to use in our buckets of rock salt used in winter for driveway and sidewalk. Since there were 4 in the pack I tossed one in my ice maker bin. Perfect size and no more ice cubes stuck to my hands. I gave the extra to a friend who loves it as well.

If you haven't already given your counter-top ice maker to the thrift store, this scoop conveniently fits in the bin and yet does a decent job of... scooping.We have been buying your castoffs from the thrift store and giving them as holiday gifts instead of fruitcakes. I'll bet the scoops stay when the icemakers go back to the thrift store...

Love keeping one in my freezer ice bin. Keeps hands out of the ice. Even easy to use with ice buckets too! It’s not supper sturdy, but strong enough.

These scoopers came in handy. I use one for scooping ice from the freezer ice bin. I also gave one to an Aunt so she can scoop up her ice from her freezer ice bin. I will use a third one for deep freezer ice bin in garage. Save one as a spare. Have no idea how sturdy the will remain being chilled in freezer ic bin. Been a while since I purchased these and still going. Here's hoping the plastic can withstand the freezers temps.
