Perfect Budget Keyboard
I purchased this keyboard for both gaming and everyday computer use.As an everyday keyboard, this product is perfect. It isn't obnoxiously loud and I have had no issues with keys being faulty in any way, which you would expect from a company as established as Dell. If you find the keyboard is too flat, it has flaps underneath, offering a more comfortable angle to type for long periods. The keyboard uses a USB connection to the PC with a 1m cable which is plentiful but you may want to use cable management if there is too much.If you want to use this as a gaming keyboard, by all means, you will still enjoy gaming as much as you always have. For less than £20, don't expect reasonable responsiveness from the keys that other gaming keyboards - in higher price bands - might offer. In my opinion, being good at a game mostly comes down to the player, hence "a builder doesn't blame his tools." That said, I'm sure others are insistent that a more expensive keyboard is required to enable optimal performance, which may be the case for them.Overall, the keyboard is an ordinary keyboard that fulfils its role as a reliable piece of hardware, The packaging didn't seem too special, but delivery has no complaints. If you're a starting PC gamer or just need something that is compatible with your PC, I would wholeheartedly recommend this product,

Dell quality white QWERTY keyboard
I have purchased this keyboard because I have been using Dell as a brand for a number of years, buying a desktop computer, keyboards and mice.Dell's keyboards are in my opinion perfect for home and office use ( I have one in each place) because they are not too big, the buttons have elegant finish and are nice to the touch, as well as I appreciate enourmously the multimedia buttons (especially stop, increase and decrease the volume).I love browsing the Internet at home and working in the office when noisy with background music on.Whenever I am being asked something or someone approaches me, I need to be able to stop or decrease the volume immediately, so having these three buttons separately is very useful for me.In comparison, there are QWERTY keyboards produced by other brands where multimedia buttons are shared with other functions, so the Function button needs to be used every time together with the respective multimedia button required and I do not like this.I hope the Dell's brand keeps up the consistency/very good quality and functionality of its products for years to come!Thank you.

Good keyboard with extra USB ports
I needed to make a new home office so when it came to keyboard & mouse I did a lot of research and tried out various keyboards and mice. My budget was £50 all in for both peripherals.I tried and then returned Dell's wireless keyboard and mouse combo (KM656) as that keyboard was not responsive and keys had no satisfying click and just felt mushy.I finally decided that the best combo was this wired keyboard (KB522) and a wireless mouse (technet one). This keyboard1) is responsive and familiar Dell layout2) has full keyboard layout with keys that give you a satisfying click sound (it's still a membrane keyboard but to go mechanical was too expensive)3) you don't move your keyboard around much so having it wired made sense4) the extra usb ports included on the keyboard are perfect for the wireless mouse and charging my headphones when not in use through a short 3 inch cable.5) the multimedia keys though not programmable (unless you do a registry hack) are still very useful.6) the included palm/wrist rest is a helpful touch and can be taken out of needed.7) the keyboard does have the little legs to add a 4degree incline but I wish they would adjust to give an 8 degree incline like some others. Deducted one star for this.

One of the best, for work...
Quiet, robust, low profile keys and minimal size footprint for a full keyboard. Plus the pound sterling (£) key in the correct place for UK keyboard. Not the cheapest, but I use mine everyday and I also have another that has lasted over five years.

Does everything right
This keyboard does everything competently and doesn't cost the earth either. It's compact - there is no wasted space around the edge of the keys. It looks great in black with silver accents. It comes with a palm rest, which makes a big difference to the comfort level. It has a couple of USB ports, which I haven't needed to use yet but it's great knowing I have 2 spare now. The extra keys along the top are useful and not excessive like on some 'multimedia' keyboards, plus the volume wheel is great too. All-in-all it's exactly what I was looking for.

It is a really good keyboard for the price.
The keyboard is really good for the price you pay, it feels okay to type on and the design is sleep and modern as well. The keyboard is surprisingly really light, which came as a big shock for me. As all rubber dome keyboards are expected, they will have some keys not register if you press multiple keys at once, this however is dependant on what keys you press, for example in my case it would be shift, space and W and the W key will not register because it is a rubber dome keyboard, but that is expected, I bought this in the UK and I got the UK version of this keyboard, which the images show another layout, so I am glad about this. The media keys can be annoying sometimes as that is where print screen and other keys would be, it is also annoying you have to press FN key and the inset key to print screen. But over all, this is more of a office keyboard, don't expect to do any hardcore gaming, although it will be good for a temporary placeholder if you do not have money.Another thing that I find this annoying is the lack of height adjustment, if you do use the stands at the bottom of the keyboard, it will not raise by much but it is dealable with.Overall the keyboard is really good for the price you pay.
