I have a 2019 Mazda CX-5 and bought this Mann filter through ebay as Amazon wasn't stocking them back in 2019. It fits perfectly into its slot just behind the glovebox (installation is 2-3 minutes). Compared to the unbranded OEM filter that Mazda fits, this one has visibly more fabric layers in it, so when you hold it up to the light it's fairly opaque rather than see through.It does capture the vast majority of smells coming in from the outside, such as pungent & dirty exhausts in town, and more "agricultural" smells if you're in the countryside ! So it seems the activated charcoal layer is doing its job which is a big tick compared to everyday filters. I also believe its claims about capturing allergens, pollen, and bacteria as well, as you're really not aware of any smells coming in from the outside, for example when you drive past fields full of rapeseed flowers. All good.However, because of the extra fabric layers it contains you do have to turn your fan blower up one extra notch to get the same airflow out through the air vents.And whilst a little extra noise isn't a deal-breaker, when it comes to replacement in a year's time, I may still go back to a conventional pollen-only filter like the Bosch M5019 or maybe even the Mann CU 24 009. A solid 4 stars from me.

Perfect for my 2018 Mazda 3
Instructions is clear, so i just spend 3 mins to replace the filter.The product is seem so well, i’ll order it a year later again if the performance is good.
