Awesome knife
Fantastic for the price. This is my 5th Ganzo knife. All are a fantastic bargain. Build quality far exceeds the price The blade steel is a bit on the lower side of quality these days, but still came razor sharp. So far holding a great level of sharpness after serious use. Blade is on the thin side, but flat grinds are. Easy to open and close. The lock is strong and easy to use. Was a little hard to move at first, but loosened up good. Can say the steel being 440 will hold sharp for a decent amount of time, but will need resharpening sooner than say, D2. Overall an excellent knife for the price. The feel and look of this knife well exceeds the price. Highly recommend Ganzo knives.

I'm happy to carry this one (and I've bought 2 more as gifts)
This is the most practical of all the china made knives I've tried lately. Some background: I prefer to carry my knives in a pocket without clips, am left handed and don't like flippers that much. The build quality is honestly perfect, but it's the design of this one that sets it apart. It's much smaller and lighter in the hand and pocket than most of the related knives and yet the blade is large enough to be very useful, with a wide slightly hollow blade grind making this knife a really efficient cutting tool. The axis lock springs are perfect, the lock can be easily released with pressure on one side of the lock, but have plenty of force to keep the knife closed. I like the colored screws and the texture of the G10 scales, again, this is a knife much better in the hand than it looks on paper.I own plenty of high end knives that I worry too much about losing to carry frequently. This one is affordable enough that I can just use it without stress. I'm happy with the 'old fashioned' 440C steel, but this knife is so good I'd encourage them to make a alternate version with a trendy boutique blade material to sell at a higher price point. I've tried knives from 4 different china brands recently and while they're all astonishingly good for the money, Ganzo has impressed me the most for quality / cost.

Great little knife!
This is a great little carry knife. I love the shape and blade style. Very sharp! Only a couple of little gripes: 1) the action was pretty stiff as delivered, but has worn in nicely with use 2) the lock bar springs were too strong for my fingers, but these were easily softened. I’d recommend to a friend, and I’d buy it again.

Great buy!
Another sub $20.00, quality folding knife from Ganzo. Great value in an over crowded folding knife market. Good steel, grind and mechanicals. I recommend this knife to all who desire a medium size folding EDC knife.

Great slicey dicey value that needs work out the box on the pivot and spring
This is a solid budget knife for the price and steel type.Out the box, the Axis lock springs are too tight, and the pivot screws need to be loosed up, as the blade does not open and close smoothly out of box.If I didn't have Torx 8 for the pin and Torx 6 for the frame screws, I would not have been able to make adjustments.I took apart the knife and slightly adjusted the Axis springs on both sides, lubed up the brass and plastic (teflon?) washers and placed everything back together. No more stiff lock. After this, the blade opens with a firm flick and closes and stays closed solidly. It's a pretty knife and has done great so far on food and cardboard.Still sharp after a weeks multiple use.The packaging is decent with a microfiber clothe cinch bag and box.Not too much branding; a firebird logo on one side, and Ganzo name, model, and steel on the other. The pocket clip is firm and holds to my jeans pants and nylon shorts pocket edge with no issues. It's a solid 3.5-4 star knife that needs work out the box.

Definitely a Best Value
For the price, this has to be in the running for the best knife you can buy. It's a good 440c steel which is superior to most of the name brands at this price point. The size is perfect for every day carry and the blade is a great slicer with a long belly. I purchased the knife because I had never used an axis type of lock. It's really great when you get used to it, and the lockup is very secure. You can use inertia to open and close the blade while you hold the lock back. The scales are very grippy. The blade is slightly offset to one side by design. This is because they use one brass washer and one thicker Teflon washer on the axis/hinge. It does not affect the action in any negative way, and it's actually very smooth and easier to clean and maintain than ball bearings. You can move the pocket clip from one side to the other. The clip is not deep pocket carry so the knife will stick out of your pocket about a half inch.

Far better than expected
First impression was this is incredibly nice for the money and I'm very happy with it. Fit and finish are more in line with 50 to $100 knives. I've owned a ZT0450 and I am still happy with this blade. The size blade and handle are pretty much perfect for me for EDC. I really like the blade shape and having a sharpening choil is nice. The blade thickness increases slightly just before the choil but it's no big deal and I easily sharpened that out. It arrived a little tight for doing the axis lock flick open/closed move. After using it a few days it has improved to where I can do that. The pocket clip is well designed but a little bit firm, I will probably remove it and file or dremel the underside a bit to thin it out slightly to lessen the clip strength some. For a knife this light, 2.6 oz. it doesn't need to be that firm. At this price I won't worry about taking this apart and maybe tweaking a few things to improve the action even more. If I mess it up I can just buy another at 16.95. I will probably buy another one anyways to have a spare. It is amazing you can own such a nice knife for so little. I highly recommend this knife!
