Q: What is the sodium content? I'd like an answer from the manufacturer since the label is all in Japanese.

There is so much false information here about sodium content. I just received my 24oz bottle. The outside label on the wrapper says 870mg. The label on the bottle itself says 720mg. Regardless the taste verdict is that it is salty. It fails the salty taste test for me. See pics of label in my review.

Everything on the bottle is written in Japanese but I looked it up on some other sites and the claim is water, soy beans, wheat, sun dried sea salt.

Q: is there MSG in this?

According to the FDA, MSG occurs naturally in many foods including tomatoes and cheese. MSG was originally extracted and crystalized from seaweed. MSG is naturally present in soy bean extracts.
