good organic product
This is the only organic pearl barley, product of the United States, that I can find in Amazon. It is also USDA certified. Tastes great. Will order again.

This might not be Yi Ren
Just want you to notice that despite the word on the packet says "Yi Ren", this might just be pearled barley. The correct translation of Yi Ren should be job's tear but sometimes it's also translated as pearled barley which has an ambiguity.

Organic Pearl Barley
Was purchased to be included in Christmas presents... Any leftovers to be used in various recipes at home... soups, etc.

Difference in two orders of the same .
Am not sure what difference is there between this and the last batch I ordered but this refused to turn pink on boiling, this would not have been a problem had it done what the other batch did which was increase my milk production.The last one increased lactation and turned pink on boiling this one did not.

Not real chinese pearl barley (NOT gluten free!)
Real Chinese pearled barley also known as Job's tears or Yi Yi Ren is gluten free. This Chime's Garden brand pearl barley is grown in the USA, and is not real Job's tears, but regular pearl barley which is not gluten free. These look different from Job's tears. To see the difference, search for some images online. Tastes just fine, unfortunately this was not the product I was expecting.
