Completely changed my A6's lights - massive improvement.
tldr: superb bulbs in focus and light output.I had an old pair of ds3 in my a6 and swapped them for a new pair because they weren't lighting the road well enough. The result was nothing changed - they still seemed to be lighting the hedges better than the road.... so I started digging for tech tests on headlights. These always came up with one of 3 headlights - with this one being the most powerful - the others being more blue-ish light which are a cooler look but apparently do not cut through heavy weather as well. (another Osram and a Philips).I decided to stump up for these as they were consistently the most powerful legal bulbs on test. The effect was startling. The road is well lit and the beam pattern is much more focused. It has transformed the A6's headlights - that are notorious in the forums for being dim. Now I can see clearly and drive safely at night and in the wet.Pro: Superbly bright, reduced light scatter, good colour balance for bad weather.Cons: they ain't cheap.disclaimer.. I haven't tried the other two front runners, and to be honest I'm not going to. These are great as it is.Highly Recommended.Edit: I saw some others saying that they weren't 200% brighter than their old bulbs. They are only claiming to be 200% more than the standard bulb as tested when the rating was set. No bulb runs atthe intro rating anymore. They are about 25% brighter than most bulbs which is good. I think most of the difference is the way they focus the light.

Very effective upgrade, hopefully they provide years of service like the ones they replace.
My Jeep was still on it's original bulbs (also Osram)But the colour temperature was too dull and orange. The beam did not project far at all and the definition was awful. A very taxing effort to drive at night.Fitting these have made an amazing difference. I can now see the actual beam pattern.....and the verge! They project almost twice as far, are a nice natural whit light (not blue) and driving at night is now a pleasure again! How easy they are to fit is down to your car. My Jeep needed things removed to gain access to the light housings. Other cars will be a lot easier. But it's worth the effort! All I'm waiting for now is to see how long a service they give.......

Much Brighter then standard HID Bulbs
I fitted the new bulbs just a day ago however I work shifts so finishing at 23:00 last night gave me a chance to really see how good the OSRAM HID Nighbreakers really are especially as a big chunk of my commute is 30 miles down the motorway.Well I was not disappointed, the distance that the light is thrown on to the road in front of you did not seam any different to the standard OSRAM HID bulbs I replaced, however, these are considerably brighter and whiter, and I did notice that the light did seam to be a lot better at illuminating the passenger side of the road, the hard shoulder did seam to be a lot better illuminated than before. The only real negative I can say is that even though I appear to have got the bulbs at a very good price they are still very expensive compared to the Standard OSRAM HID Xenox bulbs, of which I could have purchased for £40 less and to be fair, standard OSRAM HID Xenox bulbs are still very good.

Very bright
These replaced the standard Philips in a Skoda Octavia where I could see the old ones were beginning to dim a little. Rather than wait for a bulb fail in the winter, I replaced early. Certainly very bright and easy to fit.Why 4*? They are borderline too bright. The glare back from a reflective sign is strong and if you crest any kind of high point in the road and catch someone coming the other way with the part of your dip beam below the cut-off then they're all but blinded. Possibly not so great for safety and I have been flashed a few times. And you'll need to keep your headlight lenses clean for the same reason. I now find myself quite self-conscious about the cut-off at the sides 'lamping' people in their door mirrors on dual carriageway roads. It almost feels as if the beam has been slightly altered? It seems to be more a V than before, but realistically I think this is down to the sheer intensity making it more noticable.Otherwise very effective with an even white light spread. When on main they're like searchlights !

Definate improvement over factory bulbs
I got these ‘+200%’ laser xenarcs as a replacement for dying 10 year old factory bulbs in my Volvo S60 2012.Fitting was very easy and I can confirm the bulbs are very white and very bright. It has definitely improved my night visibility to the point where I find myself not having to use main beams in situations where previously I would have been all the time in the gaps between traffic.Quite expensive however they are a quality brand and Xenon lamps last a long time compared to halogens.

DON'T BUY OPEN BOX!!
Having to leave a 1 star review due to a dangerously poor experience with this product :(Ordered an OPEN BOX d3s variant for my Mk7 Golf to replace the slightly more expensive OSRAM XENARC COOL BLUE INTENSE D3S 66340CBI bulbs I was using. Upon professional installation at a cost of £60 (You have to take the front bumper off to install these lights on a Mk7 Golf) I discovered that the light is dangerously underpowered leading my to believe the product is faulty. The car belongs to my elderly father who never drives in the dark hence the late discovery of the defect after the closure of the return window. I only discovered the defect last weekend when I drove the car in the dark.... I could barely see in front of me, I had to use my front fog lights which omitted more light than the headlights at full beam!! I even question whether the bulbs I believe to be defective are even road legal.MORAL OF THE STORY, WHEN IT COEMS TO STUFF LIKE THIS..... DO NOT BUY using the 'Save with Open Box - Very Good'. Ultimately this is a safety product and I've leant the hard way to always buy brand new.Thankfully Amazon are letting me return the item for a full refund however I now have to deal with the stress of buying a brand new replacement in order for my technician to switch them over at an additional labour cost of £60. ALWAYS BUY BRAND NEW!!
