Exactly what I wanted!
I was pleasantly surprised when I received this. For less than $18, I expected something of "cheap-ish" construction that might last me a few uses. That would have been fine, since I really only had one mission for this thing; drill a hole in the floor of a junk car - through standing water - with an 18" Rock Carbide bit using my new DeWalt DCF-899 Impact driver. However, the quality of the adapter is really good - helping me tear through that job with ease - and made me realize that I'll probably use this thing a LOT!I already have a corded drill, so it won't exactly help me replace that. This is mainly because the 1/4 coupler does have some movement where it joins the DeWalt (which I expected), and could make for some less than precise drilling. But 75% of the time, I just need to make a hole in something, not build furniture, so for that reason, I'm thrilled that I bought this. Super useful! My DeWalt has just become a cordless drill. Yes, the DCF-899 is heavy, so if you are putting in 200 deck screws, this may not be the best solution. But if you are looking to get some extra usefulness from your impact driver, I highly recommend the adapter. [It does come disassembled, which just means that you'll have to put in one screw to mount the 1/4" end to the drill portion. ]

Used to make digital degree wheel. Love it.

Works as intended, never intended to work.
This thing works just be aware that it kind of sucks. Not really its fault, not being able to go slow with an impact wrench makes drilling hard and using an attachment makes it wiggle around.

A disposable thing!
I opened it the next day after receiving it, checked it, and threw away the box. The next day, I started drilling and then couldn't get the drill bit out. It's not that I didn't have enough strength to use the wrench; I tried to unscrew it with such force that I broke the teeth on all sides, and the metal was as weak as plastic.Of course, I can't return it because I threw away the box and the trash was collected that day. It'll be a lesson for me not to throw things away at least until after the first use. Thank God I was able to drill what I needed to.

Died first day
I had high hopes but quickly faded. First the chuck key broke and then the screw came out. The chuck did not have smooth action. I went and bought a drill.

Did not know i needed it untill i purchased it.
I originally got this as a 'lets see how bad of an idea is this' experiment and i have been pleasantly surprised. currently this is fitted to a IR 238c and it will absolutely tear through wood metal and masonry. when this is pared with the power and impacting of an impact gun this will successfully spin a 2in forstner bit through a pressure treated 6x6 with no issues, no ripping your arm off, no need for an assistant just chuck it up and hold on. Do NOT use this to drive screws or small construction bolts the impact gun will destroy the bit and or the screw.

Impact to Drill easy
I use this when I am outside with no power available. Put it on my Fuel and have a power drill.
