Great bike, worthless instructions
This bike is built extremely well for a child's bike. All of the pieces seem to be quality construction, and it is very comfortable for my 5-year-old daughter (49" tall). It's also very cute and somewhat retro-looking, and she really enjoys riding it. That being said, the instructions for assembly are quite lacking. Fortunately, my husband has disassembled several bikes in the past, so he figured it out (but it probably took longer than it should have with some better instructions). If you're inexperienced with bike assembly, you may find yourself frustrated and/or hiring someone to do it for you.

The Perfect First "Big Kid" Bike
This bike is absolutely phenomenal. My daughter has been riding it heavily since August and it has held up extremely well.I am handy and consider myself mediocre at bicycle repair/assembly. The directions worked fine for me. The majority of the parts only fit on one part. If you are having trouble with assembly, check out sixthreezero's website for their directions. The bikes between these two companies are very similar and the other directions might help those that are beginners in bicycle assembly.Since we started her on a Zum Bike, she did not use the training wheels at all. From what I see on the training wheels, they must be assembled correctly and all bolts must be securely tightened to hold them in place. They are of far better quality than I see on cheaper big box store bikes. The bike didn't come with a kickstand, so I contacted the company. After the person on the phone went and physically checked the parts room and couldn't locate a kickstand, Firmstrong offered to reimburse me for the purchase price of a kickstand from my local bike shop. The Firmstrong customer service is excellent. This is a perfect starter bike for kids ages 4 to 7. It is a solid design, excellent fit and finish, and very durable.

Looks great but a little overpriced.
This is a fairly expensive children’s bike and we love the look of it, but I’m not sure what makes it so much more than any other child’s bike.It was fairly straight forward to assemble but I did have to get some longer bolts from a hardware store to make the fenders attach. I’m pretty mechanically adept and the bolts they provided were never going to work.I guess if you want this bike because of the design, it’s worth it, but if you’re just looking for a child’s bike, you’d be better off spending much less money at a local big box store.

Perky Pink Beach Bike !!!!
Ordered this bike recently for our almost 5 year old granddaughter in Atlantic Beach, FL. They live just 2 blocks from the beach in a wonderful family neighborhood with lots of other bicycle riding children. The order process was easy and quick, and I thought the product description was exceptionally complete. The bike arrived as scheduled, but the box appeared to have been previously opened. As my husband began the assembly process, he found the front frame fork for the front wheel was bent out of alignment and the wheel would not fit into place. We sent an email and got immediate response from Customer Service. After sending an attached picture of the defect, BeachBikes sent out an immediate replacement part....arrived in just 3 days! The bicycle is now fully assembled and looks great! We know our granddaughter is going to have several years enjoying her Perky Pink Beach Cruiser Bike! This experience has been first rate, because the Customer Service Department was quick to respond and didn't haggle about the defective metal fork.

Beautiful bicycle with shoddy instructions and missing parts!
When the disassembled bicycle first arrived, my daughter fell in love with the beautiful baby blue paint job. As soon as I began putting the bicycle together, I began to realize what a shoddy job the manufacturer did. First of all, the instructions are vague and difficult to understand. I managed to figure it out in spite of the confusing instructions. Then, I realized the product was missing some of the nuts for the bolts! Really? Now, I am left with a half-assembled bicycle with missing parts. I will call the manufacturer next week, but I have half a mind just to return the bike. Consider yourself warned!

Flimsy training wheels, beautiful bike
The bike is beautiful & my daughter loves it the only disappointment is that the training wheels bent completely up after she road it 1 time. It’s very hard to watch a child who has faught a long hard road to be able to ride a bike, not actually be able to ride the bike because of the flimsy training wheels that came with a very expensive bike.

Great bike!
This bicycle was a delivery from Santa. It is very well made, and a definite upgrade from the 12" princess bike our daughter had been riding. It was fairly easy to put together (a couple of steps took some figuring out, but nothing major). She has really enjoyed riding it, and we feel safe with her riding it. Not to mention, who doesn't love a mini beach cruiser?

Very Disappointed
0 instructions on training wheel install, obviously didn't have some holes drilled for fender support either and had to "ghetto rig" it. 3 days late in delivery and very frustrated. Not even close to being worth the primo price on a kids bike. The look of a disappointed 4 year old really cuts deep.
