Works as expected

Had to replace the suction cups on a very small sink sponge storage organizer holder that I purchased in April of last year. The suction cups were so bad that they barely held onto the inside of my sink from day one!! I knew that I would need to replace them and in 6 months they were so bad that they wouldn't even hold up the tiny basket when it was empty, much less with anything IN that basket. I stopped using the basket until I had time to research reviews on replacement suction cups. I settled on these and when they came I warmed the back part of the 2 suction cups on the basket (a sort of "button" shaped bulge) under hot tap water and pressed it out from between the wires supporting it. I then did the same to these new (med sized,1.75") suction cups and squeezed them into the same location as the old cups. They held in place EXTREMELY WELL! And the basket HAS NOT MOVED AT ALL since I put it where I wanted it to be on the inside of my sink! Thats been a month ago. And yes, they do come loose when you want them to by releasing the vacuum. Great buy! These are the best suction cups, and so handy. I keep coming back to buy more as these are perfect for setting up reptile terrariums, as well as random things around the house. These are so sturdy that not only can I hang vines and leaves from them, but branches and cork rounds! The two largest suction cups actually support a 4” diameter cork bark round with an adult tokay gecko inside, suctioned to the terrarium glass. These do not budge.

When they are even locked down on the window, they sometimes fail in sun. Don’t know if it is glass surface- which is clean, temperature in sun or glass in freezing condition. Very sturdy suction cups as far as I can tell, but fell off twice on window in direct sun.

Love these they stick so easily and they stay on. Best bargain I've gotten a while.

Would buy again. Good quality.

The hook is very small. It could hold a small string or something. Nothing more. The end of the metal hook is also not rounded. Would not recommend.
