Good quality, easy to install

I needed a solution to adding a footboard to a bed frame I already had. This worked perfectly. Well made. It was easy to install.

OK, I purchased a steel stand alone bed frame to replace the one that went bad on my ancient bed. The old frame had hooks for both the head and foot boards, but the new one didn't.I decided to hang the headboard on the wall, but you cant do that with the footboard so I purchased this, along with the "Hooks" adapter to use with my footboard. Set everything in place and tightened everything down so I got the heights right and because the new hooks are loose when used with older headboards/footboards, I used wood shims from the hardware store, hammered in place to tightened the grips on the hooks. Works like a charm.Now for the "Ill be honest here. I didn't actually attach this to the new frame as recommended, but slid it in place, using the weight of the mattress and box spring to hold things. With my set up, the mattress/box sits on almost all the length of the rail, and its enough weight that I never had to worry about it shifting or moving. Lots of testing later and Im certain It isnt going to be a problem at all for my set up. Now for you, I recommend actually drilling and using bolts but for me, it wasn't necessary.Good quality and Im happy with it. I wish the hook adapter I used gripped like the old style did, but that isn't this products fault. The hooks are from a different company and is a different product. Cant fault this product for someone elses products shortcomings. Again, after a little thought and a few wood shims, I solved even that issue easily. So, take it from me, you cant go wrong buying this.

This extension wasn’t for craftmatic bed frame. I made it due but had to rigg it so my headboard would stay upright when I raised the head of my mattress into a sitting position.It probably was my fault due to my inability to explain what I needed. I hope others can do better than I did. The product itself seems well made. I hope I’m not being unfair to the company that makes this product.

I have an antique bed frame and I was trying to lengthen the side rails that came with it - the extensions did not work on the rails - wrong kind - I ended up just buying a whole new set of rails to fix the problem, so I sent back these extenders. Thank you so much - you were quick to send them to me - I just got it wrong in what I thought I could do to help with my problem. Thanks, again!

I did not even know these were a thing until I came across them on Amazon. I had refinished a bed I found at a garage sale - not realizing I did not have the right type of bed frame when I went to assemble it. I had a hard time finding a frame with the foot board attachment and was just keeping the foot board in storage. I was happy to find these, they were inexpensive and easy to install.

Should of listen to the reviews. Did not fit

Used to connect my son's bed to his headboard as the holes on his frame were not in line. This solved the issue perfectly.
