A great pair of shoes, especially for those of us who live through all 4 seasons.

Durable and comfortable Ecco men’s shoes
Well made waterproof men’s shoes. My husband walked all ovet Scotland and England in them and they still look great. True to size and comfortable .

Very good traction on wet boat deck. Much better than boat shoes.
Been buying these track shoes for about 25 years at local stores for $250.00 and got these on Amazon for $109.00. They are the same great fit, quality, comfort and support I’ve always known with these shoes. Well made with quality materials and water proof. Also use these as boat shoes because they grip so well.

Tighter than previous
Have worn this Ecco Trex for a few years. This latest purchase in Jan 2025, the shows felt about half size smaller and tight. I wore them a day to see if they would loosen up but they didn't relax or loosen.

Not Sure What I Bought
I have had ECCO shoes (of this style I think) for decades. They have always had outstanding fit and comfort. Extremely durable. I was accustomed to spending over $300 for each pair. It was worth the price because of these great qualities - they were a good value! Before getting this pair, I bought a pair at a factory outlet for under $200. But it wasn't made of the supple leather I had had before. It was not as comfortable. The pair was made in Indonesia (on the tongue label). So I looked on Amazon and there seemed to be two prices for the same shoe - one about $200 and the other for about $300 - and I could not tell from the listings why they had different prices. So I bought this pair on Amazon for about $300 to see if I could get the supple leather and better quality than the factory outlet pair. The listing in Amazon said the shoes were made in eastern Europe somewhere (Croatia??). I thought that the different factory might make shoes of different quality and materials. The more expensive pair might be like the ones I had over the years. But this pair seemed to be the exactly like the ones I bought at at the factory outlet. They were made in Indonesia and the leather wasn't as supple. So I returned this pair.At minimum, the Amazon listing for where these are made is not accurate. But there also seems to be an issue with pricing. Why are there two dramatically different prices for what seems to be the same shoe?I still think ECCO makes great shoes and would happily pay over $300 for the shoe that I had for so many years.

What can I say about Ecco shoes!
When I sold New Chevrolet’s , I walked 5-7 miles a day on 17 acres. Most guys drove the used cars around.Being in a previous profession that allowed me to run ultra marathons, I didn’t want to succumb to ridingI walked the asphalt and cement.I was recommended Ecco shoes. They were pricy, but boy were they worthy of the price!I imagine I owned at least four pairs at the time.I also was an avid hunter.I bought a pair of Lowa low top shoes thatLasted 20 years (Reindeer hunting in Norway, elk hunting in Colorado and Wyoming)So when my Lowa’s fell off my feet, I thought,” new pair”.The new Lowa shoe is nothing like my old Lowa’s- they hurt my feet.So back to Ecco $230 for a pair of their newest xtr, ext, txgxyz vortex waterproof? Hah! Bah! Humbug!Until I saw the same exact pair on Amazon for $200, try before you buy.Understand, I’ve killed my last trophy Elk, deer, pheasant- you name it…. I have a elk on display at Bass Pro Shops, Arkansas. These are shoes (the ankle boot is $250 on Eccos’s website)The moment these Ecco’s arrived I put them on and… BAM! PERFECT!I can’t remember where I bought the Lowa’s so when it’s muddy, slushy, yucky outside I’ll wear them.Nothing compares to an Ecco shoe, or boot (I didn’t mention I bought a pair of prairie boots in case the pheasant are calling)You try that try I’ll buy…. You’ll buy those Ecco’s….
