This product helps to promote balance and mobility over a period of time through rehabilitation with a planned breakdown of simple exercises.The exercises may help recovery in a gradual manner to help confidence and inner ear balance along with improved coordination of the body along with motor coordination if taking the time to heal and strengthen the leg muscles too if used regularly and safely.This equipment is simple as it should be with a strong and reliable base on a carpet or a rug not on a hard floor due to the hard base.The base is required to promote balance and inner ear recovery in my experience with a recent stroke requiring a balance board.It can be used for a variety of other health issues along with improving self confidence and self belief in your healing process.I am not an expert but know through practice and mistakes and laugher of not giving up to get better and fitter in time and not giving up.It can be a game changer for others with balance issues and vestibular imbalance or inner ear problems too. Mentally it provides a challenge for people of all ages and can be done alone if using commonsense to be safe against a chair or table or wall on one side to give help to the process of recovery.Trustworthy and hard wearing with no mechanical pieces of equipment to be concerned about only piece of advice is do not use on a hard wood floor due to being a rugged piece of equipment as it should be for a wide variety of individual weights.The important personal recommendation from my perspective is not to give up and believe in the product and yourself.

I do like this but find it very difficult to use. I assumed I would be able to train myself to balance but is actually more difficult then I ever imagined! I am still practising, still persevering but still wobbling.

No grip at all. Can't balance with shoes, socks or bare feet.

I have just recently taken up fitness again and was looking for some thing that didn’t cost the earth to allow me to work on my Core. Ordered this balance board and arrived a few days later, and it’s absolutely perfect ! The hard bottom is great for in door and out door and is solid as a rock. Definitely buy! Nice grey colour aswell! Lots of them are black and it’s a little dated but the grey is really nice!

I bought this in the hope of improving my husband's balance which is getting worse with age. He has recently discovered the joys of exercising so I thought this would be perfect for him. Out of curiousity I tried standing on it myself and realised it's going to take quite a while before he can even stand on it without holding on to something. Hopefully with time and effort it is going to help with his balance. Then I might even try it myself.
