Works great, but make sure you get a 9v dc power supply with it!
Got this today. works great but needs a 9V power supply. So make sure you get one when you order it other wise the LED's will not light up. The unit does work with out it though. Wish I had known that at the time so I could have purchased it with it. At the very least they should add it to the box and increase the price. With that out of the way I needed to split the guitar out to two different sources one to my PC via the Rocksmith PC interface and one to the AMP so that I can also here what I sound like while playing. The sound quality was perfect no flaws, ticks, humms, or pops.

Radial Bigshot ABY
Works as advertised. I tried using a stereo pedal to use 2 amps together and they were out of phase. This fixed that. The pedal works without a power source, you just won't see the LEDs light up.

This is an excellent piece of gear
This is an excellent piece of gear. If you're looking to switch between two amps or run both simultaneously, it's outstanding. Can't speak for any other applications, but that was what I bought the BigShot for, and it works perfectly. The phase switch is vital if you're looking to run two amps at once. The construction seems rock-solid, the enclosure is heavy and the switches actuate firmly, but quietly. No audible "clunk" when toggling between amps. The manufacturer even goes as far as to leave the little rubber feet off the unit when they ship it. That way you can add them if you want them, but if you want to velcro the pedal to your board you don't have to scrape off or unscrew factory installed feet. That's a level of attention to detail and function that I wish more manufacturers would emulate. I'll update down the road on reliability, but so far I'm thoroughly satisfied with my purchase.

Radial wins again
It works great. These guys produce top-quality products, and this is no exception. Dead-silent with the switch choices and solidly built Way better than lower-cost alternatives. I use it to put one guitar into two amps, one solid state, the other tube. No ground problems, no introduced noise. Strongly recommend.

Solid and useful, but maybe not for every application.
The BigShot ABY switcher is perfect for changing between two amps (A/B), as well as combining two amps (Y). However, this is not a plug and play box. Let me elaborate. While the ABY features ground lift, phase and isolation switches, the TYPE of amps you use make a huge difference in how well these work. Using an ABY switch to change between amps opens up a can of worms that you may or may not want to deal with. For example, I used this between my Mesa Lonstar and Mesa Stiletto and could not eliminate the hum completely. I used it between my Lonestar and Fender VibroKing without a hitch. It also worked extremely well switching between channels on my Twin. The instructions are well-written and provide useful examples on using the ABY - for example, changing channels on an amp.For me, though, I really need the LED's to tell me where I'm at, so I use the Morley ABY for my Mesa rig. I still use the BigShot for my Twin because I have each channel setup differently (clean/dirty) so it's easy to tell which button is engaged without the LED's.I gave it 5 stars because it is well-built, it works as it should, and the user manual is awesome. I cannot fault the unit for not being perfect in only one application. It's still a very useful piece of gear.

Great A/B Splitter
This works very well for my purposes, which is to run two amps at once. The price was great and the ground lift and polarity reverse switches are a nice touch. The only way it would be better is if it had a light to show you if A,B, or both channels were selected but it's not a deal killer. You could move up to it's more expensive brother the bones twin city for $142 to get that, but it's not worth doubling the price in my estimation. It doesn't suck tone nor does there seem to be any volume loss or boost to the guitar signal. I'd buy another if this was lost or stolen.

Works really well...but needs an led!!
I received the aby in a fair amount of time so no complaints on the shipping. Now onto the review..Considering my amps are very noisy and using them in stereo whether into the same outlet or each amp into its own separate outlet the noise is the same. The aby did a very good job of decreasing the noisy hum and buzz by a good 80%.I say 80% because it decreased the ground loop buzz entirely and the hum by a good 80% from amps that are notoriously noisy at almost any volume with any guitar etc etc.If my amps weren't as noisy as they are the aby would have possibly(i think) eliminated the noise entirely. So the aby is a great product i believe it would be good for any amps and in in any pedal chain to help eliminate noise and hum.The switches are working well for "a and b" selection and for "both".The 180 phase as well as ground and iso work also.It is the iso that is the key to putting 1 of the 2 amps into the transformer to get rid of the noise.Since both of my amps are exactly the same the 180 phase switch doesn't work since they are the same and on the same phase. So the 180 is useless to me.My amps sound the same whether the '180' is switched on or off.And the ground lift has worked like a charm in lifting the ground and getting rid of the ground loop noise. This product would have gotten 5 stars from me if it only had an led to let you know which button was pressed or on or off etc etc. . You will know what is on and isn't by listening closely but it would really round out the aby really well with a good led to inform you of what is going on in the aby since you have to think about lots of other things when playing.

Solid product
With this ABY pedal I was able to split my guitar's signal into two amplifiers. It works great and is small enough to fit on my pedalboard. I love it
