I'm a photographer and I can say this lens is awesome ., If you're planning to buy this lens go for it .PSThe only problems with this lens are1) Auto Focus is decent on my canon M50 but DSLRs it is terrible (if your camera doesn't have dual pixel af ,the Auto Focus this lens is WORSE )2) lens flares are terrible !

I'am a small time photography hobbyist. I went for purchase of this lens for my Canon M 100. As always (and like most of us), I did a lot of online research by going through articles /videos by experts before making a decision. Online reviews give a good insight, but at the same time, do create doubts in the mind about which equipment to finally pick. The reason for this probably is that these reviews are covered by experts in the field and are are aimed at professional photographers.So, keeping it simple for fellow hobbyists, after using this lens with an adapter on my 'M' camera, I çan say that its a Great lens, fun shooting with, fantastic portraits, bright photos in all light conditions. If you have been able to do your research, and this is one in your shortlisted lenses, you will not regret adding Yongnuo YN 50mm F1.8 II to your bag (especially so if you are moving on from your kit lenses)A word for the purchase experience from Amazon. Focus hunting is a big problem for stills.Auto focus in video mode is very noisy, even captured in the recorded videos.Prefer canon STM version for this prime lens, it's really appreciated.At F/1.8, captured image is pretty soft (real bad focus), at f2.8 and above, sharp images are captured. However at f1.8, potrait captured from dist of 3 to 4 mts (subject-camera) is awesome, great blurry background. Bokeh captured is awesome at f1.8 to F2.8, so chose accordingly.

One of the best Prime lens for Canon M50 Mark 2. Very fast autofocus. Slight noisy but negligible. Best alternative for the costliest Canon Prime lens. Go for it.

Product is almost good but sharpness is not so good.

There is some kind of auto focus issue, but not ecery time , but sometimes.Athorewise the product is fantastic in my opinion.The F1.8 fills amazing and cinematic look in every image.Over all the product is value for mony.You can definitely go for it.Thankyou.

Es un producto usado. Lo he comprado como nuevo. La caja no tiene precinto. El objetivo trae las pegatinas despegadas, he encontrado un pelo y marcas de huellas en el objetivo. La parte frontal tiene como desperfectos en el plástico alrededor de la lente. No sé si es normal este acabado o no. Pensaba devolverlo pero parece que no está dañada la lente. Aun así me parece un fraude vender productos reacondicionados a precio de nuevos

Bonjour je donne mon avis après 6mois d'utilisationPoint positif :Prix très attractifbeau Bokebasse lumière ( F1.8 oblige )Défaut :Mise au point beaucoup trop lent et manque légèrement de précisionavis sur expérience:La mise au point AF prend un temps fou pour tout sujet (portrait ou sujet en comme mouvement) objet en mouvement oublier tout de suite si vous souhaité un M.A.P fini et rapide .Personnellement je suis obliger de Faire toutes mes mise au point Manuellement car sinon le photo manque de netté .Avis personnelle :Je conseil de prend le Canon un peux plus chère mais fonctionne beaucoup mieux ( voir mieux encore mieux car sa mise au point un 3 fois plus rapide que celui-ci et parfois une mise au point rapide évite d'avoir un photo flou pour rien ) .

Me ha sorprendido mucho este objetivo, muy liminoso y con una calidad muy buena en sus fotografias, desenfoque perfecto y muy contento con el la primera optica fija que tengo.

Non lo so l'ho comprato per aggiornare il mio 35mm Yongnuo ma anche questo l'ho rivenduto subito a metà prezzo. forse ero troppo esigente. messa a fuoco lenta (con scarsa luce)
