Excellent Product
The Dell D6000 Universal Dock is indeed a game-changer for multi-monitor setups, offering a seamless and flicker-free experience. Its ability to connect multiple displays without performance issues is a significant upgrade from the D3100, especially when it comes to handling screen flickers. Moreover, the cost-effectiveness paired with the convenience of charging your laptop via the USB-C connection makes it a smart choice for both productivity and budget. It's great to hear that the D6000 meets your needs so well!

Good Product! Working as expected Both Laptop and Desktop
Purchased this docking station on last week and my experience as below. Its coming with latest firmware, no need to upgrade.I had tried this with below systems with two Monitors1. Benq Q2480 through Displayport2. Dell E2219HN through HDMI1. Dell laptop (Latitude 3400) : -Laptop having USB C type port and it worked perfectly both USB C type USB 3.0 without installing displaylink software/driver (plug and play)Perfectly Charging Laptop with USB CNo lagging, working fine with full hd resolution, No flickering2. Acer Laptop (Aspire E14):-Laptop not having USB C, hence go with USB 3.0, it required displaylink software/driverNo lagging, working fine with full hd resolution, No flickering3. Custom PC ( MB : Gigabyte B75M D3H, 3rd Gen i3 processor):-Mother board not having USB C, hence go with USB 3.0, it required displaylink software/driverFacing issues with USB 3.0, it continuesly disconnecting, But working fine with USB 2.0No lagging, working fine with full hd resolution, No flickering but a slight flickering when closing windowsOverall it's a good product, highly recommend for software development, and other applications who required multiple monitors.

Good Product, Bad Purchase & Setup Experience
The D6000 Dock Station works well, both with my Dell Inspiron 7368 Laptop and Lenovo T480 ThinkPad on the USB Type-C port. I use two 24" FHD Monitors connected on the D6000's DP ports, so along with the Laptop, that makes it 3 screens. I don't need Laptop chargers anymore, as both Laptops can charge from the D6000's USB Type-C port. However, the bad experience was that it didn't work the first time when unpacked straight from the sealed box. Upon plugin, the USB hot plugin detection sound rang, the 'D6000 Controller' icon appeared in 'Devices and Printers', but no Laptop charging and no Displays. Initially, since this wasn't expected from a newly shipped product, I tried rebooting, installing the Driver and DisplayLink Softwares, etc. but nothing seemed to help. Fortunately, my colleague at office had the same DS and I checked my Laptops there, which worked, without hassles. Hence, placed a replacement request directly with Dell (since the 10 day return window on Amazon had expired). They replaced it within 2 days and the replacement product worked perfectly right from the start.Along with the D6000, in the same Purchase Order, I also bought Dell KM117 (Wireless KB + Mouse). The Mouse worked, but KB didn't. Same story, after replacement, now the KB works fine. Hence, although my confidence in Dell Product Quality in general still remains high, my confidence on their manufacturing QC (Quality Checks) at the factory have gone down - hope they take note of this. Without this incident, I wouldn't mind giving this product a 5* rating. The saving grace was that the Service provided was prompt and conclusive.Lessons learnt:1. Upon receiving products from Amazon (not just Electronics), check immediately for defects and damages to enable a return within the short time frame allowed.2. It is possible to have Double bad luck, wherein 2/2 products you ordered are defective!Do note however, that this Dock Station is intended for light graphics workload, such as for working on documents, browsing, email, etc.

Good Choice, Easy to Configure and Expensive.
I have been looking for an universal dock for quite a while, we use laptop specific dock at office. I wanted an universal dock which works with all of the laptops irrespective of the brand. The first dock that I looked at was Dell D3100 Dell USB 3.0 Ultra HD TripleVideo Docking Station D3100, the first release of the dock with lots of issues and complains. D3100 had only 1 display port and 2 HDMI's, from my experience of using displays the Display Port is best suited for text sharpness. I do a lot of software development and wanted 2 display ports and Dell D6100 fits the need. Lot of people had written about not being able to configure this Dock with laptops and having issues. I have set this dock with 4 different laptops and it was quick. I spent less than 10 mins every time, without even reading the manuals or online documents. Just need to know how the docks work and configure them on Windows machine. Please note, the laptops I used was loaded with either Win 7 or Win 10 Professional. Over all I'm very happy with my setup and has increased my efficiency at least by 10%. The only thing I can complain about this product is the price, it's very expensive. In fact I bought 2 of them and had to return 1, my office refused to accept use of personal gadgets at office.

Got a used product that wasn't working.
Does the seller (TPS Technologies) really think that I won't notice and used scratched product ? I double checked the product page description, I ordered for new not renewed.Apart from that, I could not get it to work with two computers one Linux and one windows. Double checked all drivers and instructions from Dell. The only guess I have is that the device got bricked by someone while upgrading firmware.STOP SENDING FAULTY BROKEN PRODUCTS AND WASTING MY TIME !!!!!
