I recently bought a 2018 Ford F150 Xl Sport w/ 2.7 Ecoboost engine. I needed something to dress it up a little and thought I would give these Nerf Bars a shot because they were so inexpensive! I knew I made a good choice when they arrived and I went to pick the box up and it was heavy!! I opened the box and found everything I needed to mount them. The mounting brackets are made from THICK steel, not flimsy sheet metal. Everything looked absolutely perfect with no scratches in the powder coat. The installation was so simple and literally took less than 25 minutes for both sides! You can do it by yourself but I would suggest having a helper so you don't scratch them. I searched a lot before I chose these and they are absolutely the BEST value out there. I have already ordered more TAC items and hope that they are the same inexpensive....high quality....products as these are.

Not much more to say. They work, they look good and they're easy to install. Came with all the needed fasteners.

These are good looking step bars and they weren't too difficult to install. I planned on getting my wife to help hold the bar while I attached it, but instead did like others suggested and used the box to prop it up instead. The box was right close to the perfect height to use. I wasn't in a huge hurry, so it took me about 2 hours to install. Also, there were no dents on dings on the product I received. One suggestion, install as they suggest, and snug the braces (not tighten) before attaching the step bars. It made it a little difficult since I had the braces very loosely attached and then attached the step bar while it was propped up on the box. Reaching around the bar to snug the braces up was not easy and I didn't want to detach the bars. Good product. Relatively easy install.

The running boards work well, and greatly improve the ease of getting into the truck, especially if you have larger wheels. The matte black finish goes well with the overall theme of my F-150 STX. However, if I had to do it again, I think I would go for a flatter running board with a sleeker profile, since the overall look of these is a bit chunkier than I expected.

Easy install took me less than an hour on our F-250's. Purchased these for work vehicles. These guys beat them up off and on road. Your not gonna find a better product and your certainly not gonna find it at a better price point. for the price we figured we could purchase 2 sets and still come out even in comparison to the price of most others. However no need to do that. Been almost a year since we purchased the first few sets and they still look and function like new. These guys put them to the test 12-15 hours a day on and off road. look no farther these are for you.

I like the way it sits on my truck, doesn’t stick out beyond the wheels like I have seen on other trucks. My wife can get in and out much easier.
