My cat is 20 !! It prevents pain from her arthritic back and legs. It allows her to jump & be active.I give it to her daily.

Vet tech recommended this for my 17yo senior cat. I see a big difference in the way he moves when he's on it. He even started getting back in the top of his cat tree :) I open the capsules and dump them in his wet food with some water and fortiflora to make a disgusting cat soup that he and his sister love. Well worth the cost.

I've been giving this to our elderly cat daily for a while after the vet's recommendation. I used to open the capsule and mix it on the food, but in ever-expanding tests of laziness I sprinkled it and then just dropped the capsule on top. Boris cronches on it without issue - never leaves it behind. Must either taste good in some way or be kind of like tofu where it picks up the neighboring flavors. I don't know if it's helped his pain, but he hasn't had a wailing pain episode since he started. So... he'll keep getting it. It's not that expensive and if it's not a struggle, then there's no reason not to continue.

These are well known for being effective for cat joint health but there is an added bonus! My cat loves the flavor and entices him to eat the food that he isn't fond of!
