Beautiful book
I have never possessed a science/math book that can compete with the clarity, simplicity, and beauty of this book. The way Euclid has organized his geometry has inspired generations of mathematicians. Even the early 20th Century mathematicians and philosophers attempted to imitate Euclid's elegance by inventing their own axiomatic approach to entire mathematics. One can understand why they were compelled to do so after reading this book. As a math tutor, I am saddened to find that the schools do not make it a standard textbook for geometry. I recommend this book to everyone for whom math is a hobby and also to those who seek an escape from daily turmoil by finding a new worthwhile hobby. As regard to the edition and quality of book : The paper quality is excellent. Diagrams are neat. You won't have to turn the pages to refer to diagrams, since they copy the diagram to next page if explanation continues to the next page. Translation is perfect.

One word: Perfect
QUALITY:Impressed with the print and paper quality which is necessary for a book that is collectible and requires multiple readings. The size and dimensions are perfect for this edition considering how they condensed 13 volumes into one single book.PRICE:I got this book for Rs: 1,720/-, seems like a lot but considering the price on other editions and comparing the translations it's worth the price.NITPICKING:"Where is Euclid?""Right there.""....but it's just his hand."If there is one thing that slightly bothers me about this edition, it is that you can only see Euclid's hand tracing a shape with calipers but not his entire figure. The young man in blue robes is a pupil of Euclid, not Euclid himself. I included the original bottom right section from Raphel's masterpiece "The School of Athens". Maybe they intend to see yourself on the cover as the man in blue and Euclid is the book itself.I know... I'm just nitpicking, but that's what you do when you love something so much. The good thing is that they included Raphael's painting and that is good enough.

Very insightful and logic improving experience
Greate book with right to the point approach by publisher. Diagrams are spacious and clean. Content itself needs no review. Very insightful and logic improving experience through basic building blocks to the final proof. Must read for anyone looking to improve logical reasoning and visual thinking. No exercises so anyone looking for testing the knowledge should look for other textbooks, this is more of reference book.

I hated Geometry in school
I hated Geometry in school. The abstract and incomplete way in which Geometry was followed in our curriculum, made me run away from it.Nobody explained the beauty and importance hidden behind Geometry. Then suddenly i came across this book(Yes after 24 years, i came to know of this book), and was intrigued with the accolades heaped upon a book of Geometry. It took me some time to buy this book but now i am in love with Geometry. All the accolades, this book truly deserves.Since i am unaware of any previous publications, i can say this much that this book is intended to teach in the best way possible. All the reviews i had read before purchasing this book are true to the last detail. And special thanks to Amazon for delivering it to me at a place where no other seller sends most of the items, including this book. And the state of the delivered book is also really very nice.

Best Euclid's Elements book
This 2011 is a reprint of the 2003 (2nd edition) by Green Lion Press. (The 3 volume work by Dover Books is a classic translation of Euclid's Elements, but difficult to follow, because of very small prints & flipping pages to co-relate the diagram with the text.) This Green Lion Press edition does away with those difficulties.

This book deserves 5 star. This is the Bible of Geometry
This book is itself magnificent! This is a wonderful book. Everybody should have and I recommend it to 9th class students for better understanding of geometry because in 9th, the math course is mainly geometry. This is the Bible of Geometry
