Great toy!
This was my second one to purchase as we just had three more grandbabies join the family. From around 7 months up it is always a fav, even with the four year old. It covers a wide age range and holds up well.

Excellent toy phone for older babies!
My baby girl LOVES this phone! Granted, this phone doesn't look exactly like my or my husband's iPhones, and she still prefers ours, but this phone comes in a close second/third. She loves the sounds it makes, and this thing can keep her occupied for several minutes...which is saying a lot for a 12-month old with a very short attention span! The buttons are soft and somewhat raised (kind of bubble-like, I suppose) and now that my LO is at the age where she loves pushing buttons and getting reactions, I think that is why this phone keeps her so well-occupied. Every button makes at least 2 different sounds - the number buttons say the number as well as either sing a song or play a tone of some kind. While it certainly doesn't "fool" her into thinking it's one of our phones, it's a great little toy and I tend to bring it along with us either in the car or in the stroller. As far as size, it's probably the same size at the older iPhones (4 or 4S). It's much thicker, but still small enough for her little hands to hold very well.

Right size and educational
Had everything on it so maybe he won’t bother his moms now

Great for the price, not quite ready for it at 6 months
My daughter is constantly grabbing for my husband and my cell phones. We purchased this play phone to give her an alternative to distract her and try to keep her away from our phones. As parents we think this phone is cute and should be very entertaining, unfortunately it apparently doesn’t have the same appeal to her. She’ll play with it for a minute or two but then she casts it aside and looks for something better. I think the major problem with this is that the buttons are slightly hard to push. It takes decent pressure to depress them, which I think is just a little too difficult for her 8 month old fingers. I’m hoping that she grows to enjoy it more. For a parent, this is one of the less annoying sound producing children’s toys. Each button has two recordings associated with it and there are 12 different buttons so there is a nice variety. The toy has only one volume but it’s not too loud. There is an on-off switch to save batteries when not in use. This is a cute toy and very good quality for the price. I would recommend it for kids older than 8 months.

Great first play phone for babies
My 5 month old granddaughter was always trying to grab my phone and her eyes stayed locked on it until I moved it out of her sight. I looked for a play phone for her and was happy to find this Fisher Price cellphone for babies. It teaches them to say hello when answering the phone, counts, and has a couple other features but not too much to be overwhelming for a young child. It is well constructed and she loves it. She is now 9 months old and it is still the toy she plays with most. I recommend this as a first play phone for babies.

Not safe for young babies/infants
My 6 month old nephew loves the phone bc of the lights and sounds. So we bought him this phone that lights up and plays music and has buttons. It’s rated for 6+ months. However I would not recommend it for any young child that’s still throwing their arms around when happy or excited or anything like that. It’s not made with any soft edges which results in the baby accidentally hitting themselves in the face of head (even when your watching them we all know babies will some how manage to take an item out of your hands easily.)On the plus side it has a great music selection. On the downside again you can’t adjust the volume which makes it tough to hear it if even the tv is on or someone is talking in the same room.

Great musical toy
I bought this Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Smart Phone for my 13 month old daughter as a gift because she really really loves playing with my phone and I thought it may distract her. It is a simple toy for a cheap price so it can't completely compete with my iphone in her eyes, that said she really loves it and enjoys playing with it. The buttons each have songs and numbers and phrases that can be played. My daughter especially likes playing music and dances along with the toy. She also likes holding the phone to her ear and talking along with the voices. The toy is durable and I take it with me when I need something to distract my daughter with. It has kept her occupied in the grocery store, the Dr's office and in the car. I received great customer service and the Smart Phone was delivered promptly. I have no complaints and would recommend this product to anyone with a small child.

Durable and entertaining for babies and toddlers!
This little phone has provided countless hours of entertainment for my kiddos. We've had it over two years. It's been dropped, thrown, drooled on, stepped on, you name it. This thing is stronger than the old Nokia bricks!!!
