Great price and our Cisco 2960S accepted without issue
Worked as expected. Great price and our Cisco 2960S accepted without issue. In general, I do believe quality comes at a price. However, someone has to explain to me why a Cisco-branded GBIC sells for over $300 when this is a tenth of the price and works just fine. The same for HDMI cables, but that's for another review and post.

For the price and what the name brand ones cost you cannot pass these up. Work great and price is amazing.

Considerably cheaper than the Dell certified adapters and still work with the Force10's without any issue. If you run into problems, Dell won't support, of course; but I've yet to have a connectivity issue on s4810p's.

1000BaseT transceiver only, does not do 10/100 autonegotiate
Please note that these units, while fully functional connected to Gigabit ethernet, are _not_ auto-negotiating to 10/100 Mbps. When connected to an 10/100 smart switch, the port will indicate a link, and the switch will show that a 100Mbps full duplex connection is present, but the transceiver will not pass any packets across the link. Otherwise they appear to be well constructed and do fine when connected to a 1000BaseT full duplex interface.

SOtM sNH-10G 銀線バージョン2台接続時に使用していました。 日本でよく見かける○○-linkのモジュールと比較すると遥かにレベルは上ですが、F○nisarを使うと戻れなくなりました。 F○nisarも種類多く、また国内では以上な価格つりあげて販売しているので、海外から直に調達した方が良いですね。あとファイバーケーブルによっても音質大きく変わります。プラスチック製はダメですね。

実験購入
CISCO互換と明記されてはいましたが、やはり、信号が通るまでは不安でした。無事に信号も通り、今後のネットワーク拡張への選択肢が広がりました。音質部分でどう変化が起こるのか、さらに実験を重ねていきます。
