This is my first experience ordering used books and on receiving the item I had to recheck if in fact it was a used book. The book was in PERFECT condition. I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

My wife uses it to teach the text. She says its very helpful to her students so I take her at her word. A good book.

A very dated study guide. Weak cultural contextualisation and limited analysis of the central themes of the novel. Uninviting, pedestrian slabs of ‘discussion’. York Notes have improved since this was published, and while these ‘guides’ tend to cannibalise each other, there are useful ones available , to say nothing of on-line guides. Time to pulp this one.Meldrum
