works great on panasonic fz1000. no problems at all, streamed on youtube 3hours, no problem, also not stopping even on recording mode.love it

We use a Panasonic camera to provide the video feed for our live stream. We use the dummy battery to power the camera off of external power. Easy setup, and the camera booted right up off the external power.

I use this for shooting B-Roll or when live streaming as an alternative angle. I usually plug the USB end into a large battery pack for phones. This way, it can easily be moved around.

I used this to connect my G95 Camera to a power bank and it works well. Just make sure you have a good connection to the powerbank because the USB C converter I have will disconnect if I barely bumped it which causes you to corrupt the footage if power is disconnected while recording (due to the G95's process of remaining efficient by recording the video in one format then converting it when you stop recording). Not a huge issue for me because I set my tripod up and get continuous footage then if I move it I just stop recording then give it a couple seconds before I mess with it. No issues since.

Alternate power supply, it always a good idea to keep shooting!

I bought this thinking I would get a couple years out of it. It worked pretty good since May and then I needed it badly for an event I was recording. The cable snapped before the first clip was recorded. Thank god I had backup batteries. Doesn't hold up but did work while I had it.

I spent $90.00 trying to find a dummy battery system that would work with the Lumix G95. In previous tries, the camera would say "Cannot use this battery" and then shut down. THIS IS THE ONE THAT WORKS! The key is the drive module in the circuit. It boosts the power to the camera (you still won't get a battery life reading on the camera screen though). For yours to work with Sony NP-F batteries:1. Get an NP-F battery tray with a USB 2.0 5v output (Power Junkie, etc)2. Install the dummy battery3. Plug in DC Drive Cable to the USB slot of the tray4. Connect the dummy battery to the drive cable5. Switch on!I've run my G95 on record for 4 minutes waiting for the fail. It didn't happen. Just the same, I'll have the camera battery and the USB cable from the camera to plug into the tray and the camera as backup. In this way, the NP-F runs in USB mode and charges the camera when switched off.

I bought different brands twice & they didn't work with my Panasonic lumix dmc-G85. But this one works. Now I have more time to shoot my short drama, talk shows as well. Just ensure your camera is listed on the list, that will work with this very brand! Good luck!
