Ultrasonic Solar Bird Repeller, bird-control ultrasonic scarer pigeon to protect garden, house and boat, 2 pieces

These have done nothing to disturb the pigeons nesting under my solar panels. These were placed in the loft 6 inches below where the panels are fixed. Nothing has happened to the pigeons, and the batteries are still woking, but otherwise a complete waste of time.

It is a battery powered portable bird deterrent and best of all, a pigeon scarer. It is free standing, so it can be placed anywhere you want to rid your garden of those feathered pests. I am not sure if Amazon had sent text messages to my local bird population warning them that I was having this device delivered, but as soon as the bird deterrent arrived, the birds started to vacate my garden. That was before I even opened the box.The explicit instructions were easy to follow, and made the process of setting up the bird deterrent very easy. The device came with all the necessary batteries to get you started.This state-of-the-art device works silently yet effectively for annoying feathered creatures to fly away. I placed the device near the newly sowed seeds and I am already reaping the benefit.My only quibble about it, is that it is not waterproof, so keep it dry. As the batteries last for months, I taped a small piece of polythene that I cut from an old carrier bag over the back of the device.That is the birds taken care of, now for those three cats that think my garden is their own personal public convenience.

This is useless and doesn’t work at all. Small birds still coming to windows - waste if time and no use. Very expensive when it doesn’t work!!

Appsolutely wonderful product I was experiencing birds sitting on my roof gutter and pooping off the side onto my car parked below nearly every having to clean bird droppings off the car. Now haypressto no more bird poo on the car and to a bonus not hearing birds running around on the house roof. I put one unit in my upstairs side window and the other at the front window and they do work I am so pleased to say from my experience don’t have any doubt that they work I can highly recommend these I’ve just made a note to change the batterie# in three months time as recommendedBy the manufacture-great product.

It takes 5 aaa batteries.I only buy Duracell. They have never made it past a week .Oh and the pigeons hang out right next to the machine .I bought another one from a different company for £70It takes one battery and that battery lasts two weeks and all the pigeons went .

We had a problem with our neighbour feeding pigeons. They would gather on our roof to look into next door garden. Bought this, and 19 days in,...it might be working. We don’t have as much bird poo, nor do we see them stay on our roof for very long. They still come, but are less inclined to stay. We’ve gone from 21 feathers per day,..to 4 or 5 feathers per day. The batteries only seem to last for 2 weeks so an expensive solution but a solution none the less. Would prefer something that is mains powered.

This unit is NOT waterproof, so that alone gives you a problem with leaving it outside.I bought this to deter our resident pigeon colony, who live on the roof of a house about 60 yards from us, but come to get the birdfood we used to leave out for smaller birds. I have left it out about 5 times now and the it never bothers the bigger birds, BUT, it does scare off the smaller birds we do want! Now the smaller birds don't even care about it. Waste of money.

Was a bit sceptical as I had read some negative reviews about these but I have to say they are great. Took a day or two to work but after that I've had no bird poo anywhere in my back yard. They used to sit on my satellite dish and every day i came home from work I had to start cleaning windows, sills and door from all the mess. I havent heard nor seen them since. Hopefully it continues. Would recommend these.
