The media could not be loaded. This is the exact thing my desk was missing. This quality combo is elegantly designed, and feels absolutely amazing in the hand. The feeling of releasing that perfect spin is unreal. I would highly recommend this top and spinning base to anyone who needs a little toy on their desk to help ease their minds at work or while doing homework.

The top is amazing. On a smooth surface, like glass, the top will easily spin for 3-4 minutes. I might buy another one in a different material.The base is a high quality product that looks great, but it's so small that the top easily slides off most of the time. The base should be bigger or maybe be concave in shape to help keep the top from spinning off.

The best use for one of these, aside from annoying coworkers, is that one carries this with them at all times to ensure that they cannot be incepted, a state of affairs in which one is led to believe they came up with an idea that someone else gives them for ulterior motives. If you carry one of these and spin it you'll be able to tell from the weight that it's a real top - you are awake and not dreaming. If for some reason the top that you carry with you always should happen to spend forever - as the name of the company implies that it will...but rest assured will not as this would break the Newtonian law of thermodynamics - then you will know that you are actually dreaming and have a leg up on your interlopers.

Do I believe I've destroyed significantly company value with this product as I gaze into its spin motion? Yes.What I AM NOT: I am NOT a top spinning specialist, in fact, I struggle at Tetris and other types of hand-eye coordination skills. Did I spin tops as a child? No. Do I even know how the engineering of this product works or how physics is involved? No.Take away: this thing is a ton of fun and I highly recommend it. If you want something that's a engineering marvel--- talk to NASA or someone more qualified.

If this was a $15 gift, I would keep it but it’s just not worth the money. It feels extremely cheap. It’s a lot smaller than you would think. It’s very hard to twist in your hand because it’s so slick. Even when you get it to spin perfectly, it only spends for about three minutes. I have another top that was $15 that spins for five minutes almost every single time and is much easier to get started. It also weighs substantially more so it just feels like a more quality product. I’m definitely returning this. I would never recommend someone spending the prices that they charge for their products. They’re just not worth it.
