Rich colour but dries up if not used for long
Had it not been for the colour quality of the ink, I'd have given only 1 star. The ink has a dark rich colour but dries up very quickly. So unless you plan to use the entire ink within 2 months, dont buy them as they'll dry up after that. In short it's a waste of 2 grands.....

I have seriously no words how waste of money these inks could be
I have seriously no words how waste of money these inks could be....just in 2 months it became sooo thick that my dip pen was not working with it. Don't buy these ... instead u can buy some other pricey inks in the same range.

Very happy with this set, worth the dough!⁹
Absolutely beautiful collection of colors. Speedball has a kind of quality you don't find with other inks. Some of the colors included aren't the everyday ones you can find in every store. Just very happy with this set and I've purchased many sets. This is my favorite thing of all time that I've bought on Amazon.

Great deal, great inks.
A great color palette. The actual tray is great for watercolors and ink washes. The ink themselves are very well behaved (a touch runnier than standard speedball black, so make sure you permit one drop to fall from the nib after dipping) and extremely saturated, lovely colors. the gold is a very yellow-tone gold but the shimmer content is spectacular.The jars seal well without much mess. Better than a standard 2oz speedball bottle. And they are wide mouth, working very well with an oblique nib. You do need a razor blade (or other VERY sharp knife) to remove the inner seal without leaving residue everywhere, but the caps have another seal as well.Waterproofness is outstanding. Inks are all very well behaved and handle washes very nicely.Overall, a great kit for lettering. Only problem is you'll run out of ink! Definitely a good kit to figure out what colors you like best, but these are all winners.
