My elderly mom is on oxygen and uses a walker around the house. When I take her to her Doctor visits or other activities that require a lot of walking, we tend to use a wheelchair. Struggling with an oxygen tank and a walker isn't fun. Lugging an oxygen tank and a wheelchair is even less fun. I bought this tank holder for my mom's wheelchair and it makes things so much easier.This oxygen tank holder fits great on her small foldable wheelchair. It has two slots so she can take 2 large E tanks if we'll be gone for several hours. We love the option of having 2 tanks but you can use only one of the slots just fine without issue.Another very cool feature are the inner zippers in the oxygen tank slots. You can zip the different zippers to close off the tank storage compartments and make them shorter. This is ideal for use with shorter/smaller tanks. There are mesh storage bags built in and we use it store an extra cannula, paperwork etc.Installation was very easy. We strapped this to her wheelchair and haven't messed with it since. We remove the tanks to fold the wheelchair and when we arrive at our destination simply unfold the wheelchair, slide the tank(s) in and go.I'm very pleased with this product. It was a great value and it has been very durable up to this point. I think we've been using it about a year now. This helps make "portable' oxygen tanks a little more portable.The only issue we've ran into is very minor and is more due to my mom's body type and her specific wheelchair. My mom has a kyphosis to her spine so she does tend to lean against the back of the wheelchair more. It doesn't bother her, but it makes sliding the tanks in or out or other positioning adjustments difficult or impossible. We just have to ask her to lean forward slightly to take pressure off the backrest and it gives us room to make adjustments.If you use this with two tanks and/or a lightweight portable wheelchair be mindful that the wheelchair can tip backward if there is no-one sitting in it. We just make sure we hold the chair so it can't tip back when mom gets in or out with tanks in the storage bag. If you're struggling with lugging tanks around with a wheelchair I highly recommend giving this solution a try. It has worked well for us.

My husband was in a skilled nursing facility. He was on oxygen. The facility nicely took him to doctors appointments. The first appointment, he attended in a large stretcher, which was horrible. This is more convenient, compact and works well. The weight of the tanks is easily supported by the wheelchair. Carrying the tanks is not cumbersome. The holder Is designed in such a way that the hardness of the tanks doesn’t bother his back. Works as intended.

I purchased this for my husband’s transport chair. I am having a hard time pushing him and trying to maneuver the metal holder at the same time. This fits the cylinder well, however, once I get to an appointment, I have to reattach it to the chair. He holds the cylinder between his legs while riding in the car. I am having a hard time tightening it up when putting it back on the transport chair. So it will drag a little. Of course, I’m always in a hurry when we get to the appointments, and it’s hot here in the desert, so I don’t want to be standing outside trying to attach this in the heat. Maybe when it cools off, and I can take more time to get it on when we first arrive, I will be able to tighten it up quicker and it won’t be dragging on the ground. I will update when it cools off and let you know how it goes.

This product is great! Fits wheel chair perfectly and oxygen tank compartments can accommodate multiple size oxygen tanks. Switching from personal D tanks to medical facility tanks when at appointments is very easy.
